HP's reputation is increasingly marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from poor customer service and product reliability issues. While some customers praise the quality and reliability of HP products, particularly laptops and printers, many express frustration over unresponsive support, complicated return processes, and inadequate troubleshooting assistance. Common complaints include lengthy wait times, ineffective repairs, and a perceived lack of care for long-term customers. This growing discontent suggests a need for HP to enhance its customer service approach and address product support challenges to retain customer loyalty and improve overall satisfaction.

I messaged the US team on WhatsApp and they were very rude and rude, not only they didn't help but even the simplest thing I asked them to do was give me the driver link.
This was not the problem with their WhatsApp messenger, she tried, but their team did not help and they were very stupid.
God forbid your printer runs out of paper in the middle of printing something bc when you reload it will print starting from the top and in my case, printed 4 copies of a 30 page packet (that I specifically put a 7 page range in) 3 times, for a total of 60 pages using all of your ink which of course you can only buy at a hugely marked up price from them because they are proud of trapping customers with their $#*!ty uppriced products. I can't wait until I can replace this thing with something of better quality and from a company with even an ounce of integrity. $#*! you hp
If you buy a computer from HP direct you cannot return it without a restocking fee even if you haven't used it for a day.
This is absolutely outrageous.
LAST HP PRODUCT IN MY HOUSEHOLD!
Purchased a new HP Pagewide printers, was about $1000, after I used up the OEM inks I purchased aftermarket inks for a a year HP decided to put out an update that disables the printer from using aftermarket inks... HP F%&@K YOU!
I own that printer and its my choice to put whatever brand of ink I chose, its like saying I can't put OEM oil in my car... Now I just have a Giant boat anchor!
I now own Epson printers in my home and office.
I bought a 17 in laptop that I paid around $800 a year and a half ago and the screen went black. They refuse to repair it even though it is an issue with the screen. The screen is undamaged. I will only order dell from now one. Dells last at least 5 yrs.
Ripped me off terribly. The instant ink program is a massive scam. Only needed ink delivered 3 times a year but got billed over $600. SCAM!
Excellent customer service. Fast Responses. Easy to communicate with. Perfect devices. I got an HP Victus from them and it has outstanding performance. Recommended
I will never buy an HP printer again, nor any HP products, for the rest of my life. I don't care how much a different brand costs. The printer themselves are fine, but the experience I've been having as a customer has been absolutely terrible.
I bought a brand new HP ENVY Inspire printer. Once I set it up, the very first thing it does is enroll me for their subscription service. I thought that was the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I don't print very often, so why would I pay a monthly fee when all I need is ink every once in a while. It may be years before I need a new ink cartridge. So I opted out of the subscription, which they DO NOT LIKE. They made me jump through hoops to opt out.
Then, about a month or so into owning the printer, approx. Printing 15-20 pages, it started printing like crap. After HOURS of back and forth and multiple calls with tech support, I finally got it out of the guy from HP, who was embarrassed to admit that they ship their printers with ink cartridges that are about 10-20% full. No wonder why it was printing like crap, there was no more ink left after those first 15-20 pages I printed, all black, normal amount text, nothing crazy.
Surprise surprise, he tried like five times to sell me on signing up for their subscription service. I kept saying no because sometimes I go months without printing anything. And when I do print, it's like 1-5 pages. I am not paying a monthly fee because I bought one of your printers, HP.
So, I did what anyone in their right mind would do, I went to amazon to see what my options are for ink. I bought a non HP brand of ink because they were half the price. Now about a dozen printed pages later, my printer is telling me that I must use authentic HP ink cartridges and is denying me to print anything.
HP, just sell your printers for more money and back off of forcing us to sign up for your stupid subscription service. This isn't a streaming service or a business where I should have to pay you monthly. I will pay for when I need ink. And if there are better options out there for ink, then that is what I will buy. That's capitalism baby, get better or get lost.
You just lost a customer for life due to your tricky antics. I hate companies that don't lay it all out there. What other tricks lie around the next corner? You've forced me to jump through your last hoop. I will pour gasoline on my hp envy inspire and smile from ear to ear as I watch it burn and melt into nothing but junk knowing you will never receive another penny from me, a hardworking business owner. You guys suck.
Oh, did I mention I had a perfectly working hp printer before all of this, they just refuse to offer a way to use my old printer on newer computers. I hate HP with a passion now. I won't let this hate consume me, but for the love of all things holy don't get involved with their shady sales tactics.
I have owned 9 laptops and 4 printers from HP. Until the last 2 laptops I have always bought from a 3rd party store (Best Buy usually) had zero issues. Bought a laser printer in 2020 from HP, had to send it back 3 times. Then had issues with the unit until I got a 3rd party vendor to help. Just bought a brand new Envy laptop from HP. Why do I go back? Product is good and very few manufactures make a 17" laptop which is what I need. Been trying to get the settings to work, the hardware to work and get no where. Today I get a call from a "Michael" in the escalation department who shouts and screams at me saying its my own problem and said "you should be lucky we have you as a customer" these people are really bad. Michael said he should be thanked for calling and should be shown "appreciation" for anything he does. Zero value to a customer.
I'm a sensible person, and with that, the "support" & service offered by HP to its customers, at least from what I've experienced, has been egregious. I purchased the HP Envy 17 (order #: H*******) w/ the bells and whistles in mid 2023 as a work laptop. Not even 7 months in, I'm having issues with wifi connectivity, which upon researching, seems to be a common issue with HP laptops. This has essentially rendered the laptop useless for me. I called in for the 2nd time today anticipating to get this resolved. All that came of this was a loss of 6 hours of my time, which equates to significantly more than I spent on your laptop. I spoke w/ the first rep that had me run a useless, ineffective diagnostic. Then I was transferred to another dept. where I was told I'd have to spend $51 for you all to help me resolve an issue w/ the faulty product you sold me. Paid the $51 and was promised by the rep that my issue would be fixed. 4 hours later and it was not. Was told that it was not a software issue but an issue with the antennae in the laptop that you all sold me. Was transferred to another dept. and was told that I would need to do yet additional diagnostics. Was basically told that I was SOL since I couldn't download an app on the laptop w/ no wifi and that I would have to pay another $35 to have you all ship me a flash drive with the app on it in order to move forward. Do you truly believe this is acceptable service and equitable treatment to your customers? Shame on the leadership at HP. This is not on your reps, they don't know any better. My warranty is valid until May of 2024, yet I'm having to jump hoops to get this resolved. I've lost multiple hours due to confiding in a product that I thought would help increase my efficiency and productivity.
HPs mission statement "We are a technology company born of the belief that companies should do more than just make a profit" is a crock of BS. Just converted from MAC to Windows and called in to have a very simple question answered that I wasn't able to find online. After waiting for 15 minutes the rep tells me that they'll need to charge me a fee to answer a simple question on the admin desktop. At least Apple stands by their product. Never got charged a fee when I needed a question answered or assistance from them.
HP Customer Support--don't reply with some phony, disingenuous statement that only serves as optics for your brand. That's not what those of us who handed our money over you are wanting. Do better.
I purchased an HP Envy printer. The set-up was quite complicated. I had two of my "tech savvy" friends help and finally got it working. In no time I was getting a message that my printer wasn't connected to my internet. After many attempts at fixing the problem I kept receiving that message. After paying the Geek Squad I discovered that HP was causing this fake error because I did not renew my ink subscription. I was shocked that they caused this issue. I will never purchase another HP product and urge all potential purchasers to beware of this scheme!
Ordered ink for printer. Confirmed and said "shipped" next day. Five calls later and 9 days later STILL cannot tell me when it will ship. Have been unable to print for that time.
Customer service is horrible, lies to you, and could care less I have an account/purchased over $3,000 from HP or attempt to make purchase right. Would not let me cancel order but suggested I go to Walmart to purchase ink!
Lost 3 days of work to wait for a valuable parcel in London.
It's been 3 days tracking system says it is out for delivery. Obviously no one at Parcel Force cares for answering the phone to anxious customers trying to figure out what's going on. I gave up after 30 min of wait over the phone. Maybe 3h is the normal wait time. Maybe they simply wait for you to give up.
Said they tried a delivery as I was home but didn't care to ring at the door. Nor call. Not leave a card. Typical behaviour of dishonest company and staff.
Got refunded one eventually.
The god damn text support people that ive told 100 trillion times that i want a refund, ignore me and wont give me it, the price went from 1500, to 750, and noe is at 300, i got into a automatic repair loop and the support person just cares about how to fix it, they sell fake warrantys, im about ready to send a credit card dispute to these multi billion dollar money hungry $#*!es who cant spare some money becwuse their product is $#*!

They lied about the adaptive battery setting. I searched it up in the mini settings and main settings page and nothing showed up for it.
The Battery only lasts 6 hours and I'm pretty sure it said that the battery lasts a full day on the package.
I have tried over and over to enroll in the hp Instant Ink program. I have spent approximately five hours trying to get this program working. I spent over an hour talking with a representative only to be told the problem needs to be elevated and that someone will call me in a day or so. I called again and was told we are still trying to find the problem, I asked when will someone call me, the answer was I don't know. Keep you line open, maybe call again in a few days.
If you want to do business with a company that values you as a customer "Do not assume that hp is that company " My experience so far is terrible and I am not expecting it to improve. There are a number of other companies that will value you as a customer, why deal with one that doesn't.
Il est impossible de parler avec un humain pour avoir de l'aide avec mon imprimante. Au téléphone, depuis décembre 2023 il n'y a aucun service. Je devais acheter un ChromeBook de HP. Pas question! Très déçu. Pas d'aide
COMPLICIT IN CONGO GENCIDE! HP is complicit in the genocide in the Democratic Republic of Congo They support the suffering of millions of people who are killed, assaulted, displaced, and forced to mine coltan.
Answer: Impossible by phone since at least December 2023. ( May be before)
Answer: I'm old and remember the HP of 20 years ago. Boy has time changed this company.
Answer: Lenovo is similar to HP, though the performance of Lenovo's computers is complete crap, the upside to it is that they at least have good service.
