The wig isn't even good enough to wear to a fancy dress party. It is absolutely hideous. They won't give you a refund and will even have the nerve to try and get more money out of you by offering to make another for a reduced cost. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They even give the impression they're a UK company with their. co.uk website address when they're actually based in China, which is totally dishonest and misleading. I'm still fighting for a refund.

Terrible cheap product from China! SCUM! The UK website with the seller based in China. Sending messages from Chinese gmail and not the website that is related to the HoWig website. I'm waiting from PayPal for the full refund, as this is becoming too popular selling fake wigs and making money on naive buyers. As I see, I'm not the only one who fell for that UK based' company. Daylight robbery!
About the wig i received, I was ordering the smallest size and received XXL, it's even big for my friends who is 6"10 tall with a bigger had than mine, the hair cut looks like I'm wearing a hat and the hair line did not have a front lace, you can only imagine the fat ugly fake wig hair line on my forehead when I tried it on. No guys, thank you. I do not want to try it again, I have my eyes on my face and I can see clearly that I've got a Halloween item and not something I can wear during the day. What a joke! I hope this money you make on us will make you happy. I see that some people found their way to make their living. Get a life scumbags Lucy and Maria, all in one same person wringing me emails with the attitude like we are on the Chinese street market bargaining to return me £20 or £30, charging me £104.
I don't want to keep this crappy wig, please give me your email in China and I will ship it to you back!

Unfortunately I checked up this horrible company way to late, the order was already placed.
Now I am among all of you who tries to get a refund which seems impossible. As it is no doubt scam and fraud I will ask PayPal to step in 20 days after my first complaint to the company.
I made them understand that I am not interested in others than a full refund (wont happen I am sure) as they use illegal methods to get their terrible wigs sold. Like someone wrote they use pictures from expensive collections and the wig you actually get is nothing like the pictures in the ad.
In my case they used the picture from Ellen Willies expensive collection. Model "Soul". I wrote to them and asked them to take action. Of course they were already aware of this and yes, they are trying to fight these companies even though hard as they keep changing name.
Anyway; the wig I received was made of plastic and not remy hair as promised. The length was approximately as the one on the pic and the color ok but as mentioned plastic (did check just to make sure and burnt a loose "hair" that was stuck in the net covering the wig) and smelled horrible moreover. The lacefront was non existing and no need to even try it on.
It´s a shame how they scam people with often lethal diseases, like myself.
I do hope that everyone who is planning to buy a wig take part of all these warnings before placing an order. And actually PayPal claim they will refund if you have been scammed. Just collect as much information you possibly can.

I received the wig yesterday. Firstly, I was expecting a parcel from the UK. This looks as if it came from US as the contents value = 14.00 USD. £67 was paid for a cheap and nasty item. If you saw this in a costume shop for £5 you'd pass as it is so poorly made. The hair (if you can call it that?) is attached in rows some so badly that it's all in a clump that would be at the top of your head. I thought I was ordering a layered 8" wavy blonde bob style with dark roots. Ain't what I got! I don't think a clown would wear this. I've just opened a Paypal case so will escalate as soon as possible. Just wish I had read these reviews first and I would NOT of ordered.

Update: I escalated with PayPal. Howigs have not yet responded via open case but have emailed through a gmail.com account. Basically asking for more money. I need to pay for a new wig and they will give me 3 free gifts. Obviously, I will not be responding. Hopefully PayPal do the right thing and issue a full refund.

The wigs are terrible and poorly made. I spent $200 on 2 wigs and followed the policy to return but received an email stating it would not do it. One wig the company had the nerve to tell me to take it my stylist to style. There was no hair in the back to complete the style if I I wanted to. I just threw over $200 away for wigs I cant wear. Well. I guess its the chance you take when ordering from a country that don't give a dam about American customers. Please I am telling you the truth the wigs are not well made. If the company was here in America I would sue. When you treat people wrong it comes back to you. The Company refused to return my money or make a return and offered me a 20% discount on my next order. As if I would make another order! Order at your own risk.

Ordered two wigs from the site. BIG mistake. One wig does not fit at all, the other one does not even remotely look like the picture posted on their web page. Wanted to return the wigs, looks like it will be impossible. This is the last e-mail I received from the "customer support": I should keep the wigs and they will remake me a wig for my compensation... yeah, at my cost.

We are sincerely sorry that we did not provide the satisfied wig to you. I don't suggest you to return it, the package need to be returned to our overseas cooperation manufacturer, so the time will be very long and you need to pay the extra delivery fee.

In order to solve this problem better, we will remake a new wig for compensation, you just need to pay the cost. This time we will change another wig factory. Could you please tell me which wig do you want?
