Seriously gone down hill

I've always been a fan of HOF, until it's takeover. Well. Just read all reviews down over, that says it all really. It's is now just another Sports Direct, full of high end tat. Bring back the old style and customers may return. Stop charging for click and collect that's shocking. Free delivery over a certain amount. And treat customers with a bit respect.

I had an e-mail from HoF requesting I contact HoF to resolve my problem after they had initially refused.
After thirteen e-mails back and forth, HoF are still refusing to send my second item (Buy one and get one free) - a complete waste of my time and they won't publish my complaint on their site as they state it doesn't meet their criteria, I assume they will only publish favourable posts.

I received some terrible service from HoF and when I wrote a review to their site after they refused to rectify my complaint, I received the following from them:
''Your review cannot be approved at this time because it:
Shipping or fulfilment focused''
So there you have it, if HoF don't like your review they refuse to publish - what a company!

Such a shame ordered a top for my boyfriend's birthday the delivery was in time that's ok when I opend the top that I ordered size Medium I found a top which is EXTRA LARGE that's ok everyone can do a mistake but the biggest frustration is that there is no one you can talk to, I have sent a lot of emails and no replies. I had no option but to send it back after like a week and after countless emails I received a reply which tells you can send it back to us to this email a totally different email from the one listed on the return invoice! Now it's been a month since I sent back my item please note I sent my Item back with registered post and they are stating that they are still waiting for my parcel again countless emails and a non-sense reply after a week or more.

Thank you House of Fraser for wasting my time you lost a loyal client!

Ordered for next day delivery and it still hasn't arrived after 6 days of waiting. Also, they cancelled an order as they said its not longer on stock but they told me after a few days.
Misleading and unprofessional, they have lost a customer and i do not recommend no one to shop there.

I am still waiting for a delivery I ordered 10 days ago, stated as "two day delivery', it is now Christmas eve, and Hermes are stating its still in my local hub?, very little interaction from HOF and NO interaction from hermes.

I am now £100's of pounds out of pocket, with no money to replace Christmas presents.
I am absolutely disgusted, I have had orders from all over, and all have arrived in good time, so why can't HOF get it right? Is it because they are now sports direct?.
I will never use this company again, I wish I had read the many awful reviews first.
I am so upset, and beyond angry, disgusting experience all round

Previously worn shoes

I've tried to buy shoes/boots on a couple of occasions. The suede boots I ordered had big bare patches, and had signs of having been worn on the sole. When I returned them they claimed they hadn't received them despite other items in the same returns package having been refunded - so clearly they had received the package. After a lot of chasing on my part they were eventually refunded. This time I ordered trainers, I got two left ones and no right one, plus one had clearly been worn, as one sole was grey and the other orange. I get the impression they are preying on people who are busy so buy online and then don't have time to return poor quality items.

They never delivered the shoes I bought, they stopped replying to my emails asking for a refund about two weeks ago now. Will file a formal complaint with the police as they are just stealing your money.

Avoid this company, my item never arrived. I have been emailing and sending "tickets" for the last 2 weeks and have had no response whatsoever. There is no email, no telephone number. This company's customer service is shocking, avoid online orders at all costs, you will lose your money.

Ordered a Levi's jacket that was never posted.No customer services number to call, it doesn't exist. They took £97 payment straight away and no way of finding out what happened to my item. Disgusting service, shop elsewhere as you have no guarantee that your item will arrive, they can't even get the basics right. Trading standards UK have been contacted. Avoid.

Ordered 15th November, delivery within 2-5 days. Received email saying item had been dispatched but only to go on to the tracking link to be informed' we are expecting your parcel from the sender'
I've sent emails to question where my order is, completed web messages. NOTHING! No contact telephone number to ring Customer Service.
Shocking Customer Service!
Will never be ordering from HOF again!

Order number: HOF*******2384
I ordered a size 30 and paid additional £4.99 delivery charge but received a size 34. Even the receipt that came with the trousers states size 30R. They then claimed they did not have size 30R so I returned it to them. (meanwhile they were still advertising size 30R on their website and you could still add it to your basket). I guess the sensible thing to do is refund the cost of the trousers and the £4.99 delivery charge. They have not done so. So I have to waste £4.99 for making the assumption that these people would tell me if they do not have the size I wanted and not send me the wrong size, hoping that miraculously, I will grow into their suggested size ( you couldn't make this up)
They have ignored all my emails. I know the owner has no morals but come on, there must be at least one person there who has some conscience and common sense.
I am still waiting for them to refund the delivery charge.
I intend to continue to leave a couple of reviews each week until they at least tell me why they think it is ok for me to pay for their inability to know the difference between 30 and 34. Watch the space.

Charged £5 for postage, & HoF refused to issue pre paid return label. Checked price for postage online... circa £2.50 one way.
Rubbish customer service.

I bought a blazer from House of Fraser which arrived faulty as the lining had a tear in it. I packed the item to return it, but could not believe having ALREADY paid for delivery, you also have to pay for the postage costs to return it ON TOP! What online store does that in 2020?! At the very least if you have paid for shipping they should offer a free returns service. Nowhere is it made clear when you make an order that you are responsible for the return postage.

Having looked at the returns section, the website clearly states they will refund your return postage costs if the item is faulty. I emailed them to do this and received an automated reply by a bot. They clearly didn't even read my email. There has been no reply to my second email.

What kind of department store of this stature behaves like this?! Selfridges in comparison has an amazing customer service. I will never buy anything from HOF again. It might only be a small amount in postage cost but it is still money the customer has spent to return a faulty item for which they should be reimbursed. If they retain this behaviour with unhappy customers shopping elsewhere they have no one to blame but themselves if they go bust.

Avoid this retailer at all costs. DO NOT be taken in by what once was a prestigious name.
This retailer bears no resemblance to the House of Fraser that was.
It is now a tin pot company of the same elk as Sports Direct with awful Customer Service.
I ordered a camping table which never arrived, after repeated requests for a table or a refund still nothing!
I urge anyone who is considering making a purchase from HOF to go elsewhere.

I placed an order on 24th March for a table tennis table. Not cheap at £400. It was for my son's birthday... in May. I only ordered from House of Fraser because it said it was in stock. Bar the email stating my order had been received nothing more... After two weeks I tried to contact them but no phone line just a contact form with auto replies using, quite frankly, Covid-19 as an excuse. After about the third contact form being sent I finally got an email saying my order had been processed. That was on the 17th of April. But what does processed mean? No estimate whatsoever of delivery date. Further forms sent. Finally some info on 23rd April stating I'd get tracking numbers. I never did. I did get a text from SD.com. Who? Then i realised Sports Direct. No wonder I'd had such bad customer service. The table finally arrived on 25th April... but another surprise was in store... despite being a metal table tennis table it was broken. Opening the box I found that the table was not just dented but part of the frame had been completely ripped off. It's so big I can't even take it to the tip. So more (non!)contact forms only automated replies and my son's birthday came and went.

For clarity:

Covid-19 can only be used as an excuse for so much. This is just disgraceful customer service. Continually using Covid-19 as an excuse is disrespectful to those who have suffered from the virus.

Time for a claim via my credit card under Section 75 or a trip to the small claims court. If enough of us demand our money back from Mastercard/Visa then hopefully House of Fraser will no longer be able to take payments via them.

I used to respect House of Fraser and viewed them as a reputable company with good customer service. No more. It's a shame they were ever taken over. At least if they'd gone to the wall prior to the take over they'd have gone out with their reputation intact. With customer service like this they WILL go out of business. The only difference is that their customers will be glad.

I've ordered by house of Fraser since 28th of April and still showing like my order is "awaiting courier to pick up ", I've been trying to contact them since then but no reply (and you can't find any phone number) I've been so stressful as I've spend £235 on this order. Now I'm so tired and just want my money back and I'll never order by house of Fraser again. Don't waste your money as they'll not refund you or send what you're meant to receive. At16th of May I made a compalin and they wrote back:"you'll receive your order in next 10 days " but still nothing..
