Because I made the mistake of thinking that support would be good but I discovered that it is not

It had a reputation as a good, reliable WordPress host

I thought it would be an easy experience, but it has not been easy. I cannot add my nameservers that were present when I changed domain hosts. Somehow they 'disappeared' and it won't allow me to place them again.

I have been waiting for a month for a call back and a check to refund me for the work I lost and time i wasted when my site was taken down even though I had paid for it in advance
I have been discussing the matter with various attorneys and hope to have it solved soon

The new sign in and portal screen suck. I don't want to have to click through 50 of your ads to get to my tools. Hostgator used to be great. You broke it. Badly.

Referral many years ago and I have not changed it since then.

Youve changed all the menu's - cant find anything -? Where is sub-domains? All the help videos show the old layout.

We have been waiting on you to fix something and you still cannot fix this important need.

This platform is useful, but still very limited in capabilities. Forms, galleries, etc. allow for limited customization.

I needed a webhost. It seemed good but the add ons seem to be too difficult for the customer support to figure out.

UI and UX are really annoying, Don't understand why when I login into my user account first appear advertise and then I need to click to go in admin panel. Quite unprofessional, no?

The changes you have made to our subscription should be explained better to have customer since we are trying to build businesses and you change the way we offer what we need to!

Your rate get too high, and customer goes down. New portal have very very less functionality and just confusing panel

I didn't choose hostgator. The previous admin did.

Stop trying to trick me into buying something I don't want every time I log into my account.

I keep having issues with opening my email. I will log in and the server will not take me to my inbox. This issue happens across both accounts that I manage. At the same time, the inbox will not sync on my phone so I miss important time sensitive emails.

Pricing was good and it seemed fairly easy to use. Don't like the new Dashboard.
