I've had this hosting service for months, and every time I come to do something I hit a brick wall. This time it is setting up an Outlook mailbox. I have copied and pasted everything from the instructions I was provided, but I keep getting a server error--both on the Outlook app and in my Cpanel. I've never had so much trouble setting up a website and accompanying emails as I have with HostGator.
Don't remember why I chose you guys, but you are awesome!

The quick links on Websites to cpanel should be on top of the sites listed.
The way the reconfiguration has complicated reaching the file management page is HORRIBLE. AND the fact that there's a splash page to add extra services. If we want it, we'll order it. Don't shove it in our faces EVERY TIME WE LOG IN.

When I log on, I want to have a link to the file manager immedialty. Instead I have to go hunt for it. I don't want constant advertisments to buy more features as soon as I log in.

I hate this new payment page. It is difficult to navigate and half the time I give up and try to come back to it. The previous way was much easier, this is bullcrap. If you don't want my money I can always find someplace that will take my money without having to jump thru hoops. Change it.
I would never choose HostGator again or recommend it. Customer Support is terrible.
Back in 2009 when I started my reseller hosting, I chose HostGator because I liked Brent Oxley's (HostGator founder) focus to providing the best hosting services backed up with outstanding customer service.
That ended when EIG purchased HostGator from Brent in 2012. Service rapidly deteriorated to where my hosting was subpar and customer support staff was reduced to less than half, which lead to support call wait times to many times over an hour. And support tickets taking two or more days before I received a reply.
But I stuck with HostGator, hoping it would improve.
It eventually did. But it took many years.
Support wait times have reduced as well.
I am leaving HostGator because a few issues that have happened in the past few years.

P.S. My recent calls to HostGator over the past few days have been excellent with Mike and Jamie. As well as a month ago on January 20th when I called to cancel my hosting. Sorry, I don't recall the gentleman's name, but he was great as well.
