I clicked an a link in an email from you about updating PHP in Wordpress. It took me to a page with information, but also opened a Chat window. I don't want to Chat and there is no way to close the Chat window. I ignored it while I did other things and received several Chat messages from you that I wasn't responding. Eventually you did give up and close the chat session, but the Chat window is still there and overlaying information that I want to read.
Then I logged in to Hostgator in a new window and the Chat panel is there again, with no way to close it.
Previous experience with another website I managed
It was the best option 10 years ago, now it sucks. My server was attacked and you did nothing but to recommend sitelock and they charge 1.200 usd

Have been using Hostgator for many years. I have always had a great experience with the company. Customer service is top notch and you get a lot for your money.
I've been with HostGator on and off for over 20 years, utilizing shared servers. However, the last 5 or so has been an absolute headache. The latest is due to an outdated MySQL version which I need for my WordPress website plugins. I'm told that I must change to VPS or Dedicated Plan (which is out of my price range) or just not use those plugins. I'm going to have to seek another hosting service at this point as I cannot wait to see when HG ever gets around to upgrading.
