I had a renewal of my hosting with HostGator. I have been trying from past 3-4 days to get my account renewed but I am facing a lot of troubles with that. I am continuously connecting with your agents via chat but no body could help me properly. I have been trying to connect via call but none of the calling customer care numbers works in India. I am unable to make payment from my end and whenever the representative tries to make payment, it doesn't go through. I need to solve this issue asap, as I am facing a lot of trouble due to this. Completely Dissatisfied with the Technical Support Services, Renewing the SSL for 3 months and every time the site goes down for a week or more but they are not interested to look in to the issue seriously.Issue at HostGator End because they are the one renewing the SSL certificate and each time the site having problem.
I originally chose Hostgator for the excellent customer support and inexpensive plans. I stuck with Hostgator because customer service cared and offered me a discounted plan. I'll be switching from Hostgator because the last agent didn't care and would do nothing for me.

My issue putting a paid SSL on my client's domain has been terrible and still not fixed. Between your chat support and your tech team, there is no communication. This has been the most terrible experience and I think issue has been caused by your migration last December.
The system is quick to throw me out and not helpful in correcting issues
Difficult to log in with multiple user names and passwords ie site password and cpanel password etc.
Support help is a bit sluggish at time and antiquate but i understand why. Logging in is more of a hassle than i think it should be. A simple email/password never works, i have to use my username and a password that is associated with that but if i try my email i get this odd error that knows the email and password works but isnt allowed to take that information for some reason.
We've been with host gator a long time. They have an easy-to-use interface and excellent service. Zero complaints.
Because price and services. But now a lor of appealing advertisements.

Too many problems with web site for automatic upgrades
When originally purchased, the SSL was included. I came into my dashboard only to find out that SSL has been inactivated and will now cost me about another $100. I was under the impression this was part for the deal when I renewed.
Setting up our domain email has been a nightmare. DND refuses to populate on 5/6 of US servers. We contacted help several times and weeks into our Business subscription we still are not receiving emails from clients.

My email plan with you guys is not reliable. I consistently have problems sending emails. Im currently get return notices for all emails sent and cannot operate my business.
The site previously was well managed and fast. The current theme is frustrating and messed up.
