My Domain expired no one informed me and on top of it you took money for maintaining same for 10 years
HostGator is having trouble managing their platform. The new Credit card is not being updated it its system. Therefore, it would not charge for a domain name which I could have lost. Platform looks keeps changing making more confusing. I had to call in to renew because HostGators platform froze! And, representative didn't ask me if the address for the new credit card was the same - which is Not! Waiting My Time! Management is Not paying attention and not making the system easier for a nice customer experience.
The site and all its features are super difficult to use. Not user friendly at all, not to mention the email login disaster. Just plane terrible use features.

I dislike the new interface. There should be a direct link (one click) to cPanel like there was before. Now I have to click NO to an add, wait for a page to load, click Hosting, wait for a page to load, scroll all the way to the bottom, and then click the link. This seems like a common request. I imagine lots of users feel the same way that I do. Very frustrating. Also while I'm ranting, the phone verification feels ancient. Why can't I choose SMS? Text is how everyone else does this.
So long ago... At the time I migrated to HostGator, it was the best choice. I used Network Solutions for a long time.
I wanted a change from GoDaddy and found Host Gator. I appreciate their cost competitiveness and ease of use.
I have tried to cancel the domain transfer that I started, but was told that I could not. Other competitors are able to do this so I don't see why it is not the same with HostGator.

I had choose Hostgator for the rapid assistance and team experience but unfortunately thing has changed, Chat assistance are usually not expertise or work at random. An exmapl one of your tech was working on a problem of mine to installed prestashop on one of domain. But this idiot deleted my main website ans i don't know how, the chat was closed cause there was no one to attend my request. It always take a few interactions to my my issues resolved. The assisting team are not dedicated or willing to help. They also lack experiences, cause most of the time i had to resolved my issues by myself. As a web agency i no longer advice my client to use Host gator. It is not practical for us. we have better service elsewhere
