I have chosen HOSTGATOR for over 13 years because they were the best. But two years ago I started losing all my customers, losing everything Hostgator had helped me set up thanks to perfect service, escalated support was available at any time. The supports were simply human.
But everything has changed, today I lost my business, services have become more expensive, escalated support interventions take time.
First level support is no longer able to resolve the problems.
Today I am honestly thinking of leaving hostgator because I no longer recognize hotgator which I liked.
I have lost more than 60 clients and every day clients leave my agency because when there is a problem, sometimes after weeks, the problem is not resolved and when it is resolved, it is too late to We are losing customers.

Previous administrator was already with HG. I decided to take over the hosting myself under my own account. It was all downhill from there. Nobody speaks understandable English, representatives will outright lie to you (I was told multiple times I was holding for a supervisor. 1 rep finally admitted there was no supervisor). Migration team doesn't accept phone calls. Everything is translated through the customer service team, which can't help at all. I will never, ever use this company
Suddenly this am i could not access my email or log on to the c panel.
I attempted to trouble shoot - no success.
Reached out to chat who indicated my business plan needed renewing.
We did that - still no access to the 2 issues above.
Help said wait 20 minutes/
It is now 4hrs and still no access to cpanel or my WORK email
I had really great experience through the years...however, support is not so great
The last 2 times I have contacted customer support their solution has been "wait 2 to 4 hours and try again" that answer is not a solution, especially when trying to purchase products from YOUR site!
It's very difficult to get the help you need. There is a communication barrier most of the time. Plus, you get a different answer to the same question from different representatives.
