I've been using HostGator for years but with the recent price increase and the fact that you keep changing my auto-renewal to on, I'm just about done with this site.
Pathetic Customer Services. Scammers. Stay Away. Suspended My Site For No Reason And Still Charged Money. Worst Thieves.
Been a long time customer but cant stay any longer
The recent changes to your website and phone customer service are pretty bad. I used to be able to call 24/7 for assistiance and always had great help from your reps. One of the main reasons I chose Host Gator in the first place. Now everytime I log into my account on the website I see some offer that is trying to get more money from me that I have to decline and click through before I can access my site info. I need to maintain my websites not be bombarded with offers from you like that. And charging me for services prior to the renewal date is also awful. What happened. I used to love hostgator. Also I recently had to pay for site privacy when I already had paid for site privacy and that matter was never resolved. But I had to pay for it again to get my personal information off the internet and didn't have a good experience the last time I called for support so I just paid it again to resolve the issue. Pretty disappointed.

I thought you would be a good value but instead your servers are the worst I've ever encountered and I will move y website ASAP with demand of money back because you don't fulfill what you promise on multiple occasions and levels.

Not able to make payment for last 7 days on your website for renewal and your support does not know what to do.
Trying for days to get auth codes for my domains with HostGator. After a lengthy chat, the representative writes, that he has sent an email with the codes and I should receive them shortly. One day later: still no codes 😡. Very frustrating experience.
The billing thing really hurts my head and i have a lot of anxiety because im poor and irresponsibly stretch my dollars and there's all these dropdown boxes and i really wish it was more streamlined because im having to click down all these accounts to figure out which one will pay the name that's due and if i am missing something i apologize but i am struggling. My SSL certificate breaks about once per month. I am grateful that customer support fixes it each time, but it happens so often it's incredibly frustrating.
They do not have the updated PHP version in my account, I should have at least the version to choose from 8.1 but I only have version 7.4 and that means that my page is not secure due to its poor management, I have been paying for years and they do not update my version.
