The chat support team provides misleading information regularly, Have been a victim of applying for server migration, was provided with misleading information by both chat support and migration department, until the old server fell due for renewal, the quickly demanded that i needed to renew the old server in order to do the migration, yet it was all there fault. Its very frustrating and demeaning to a client. It sends a wrong confusing signal to any client.

We made account changes which froze our Domain for 60 days. Our 60 days is past by about a week but we have been told it IS unlocked and a code for transfer will be sent. It still has not been sent And our portal on Hostgator still shows locked.
Low price but that changed without notification and was a hassle to correct
The new back office is absolutely terrible. Counter intuitive. And substantially less easy to navigate that the previous back office. I'm astonished that this release was authorized. I'm not the only one. Many of my friends are even thinking of leaving HostGator due to the level of frustration it has caused.

I find hostgator on you tube video, and after I tried it for months I'm very happy with customer service.
Half the time when I log in I don't receive the code on my mobile. I'm going to go look at one of my domains now. I deleted thousands of files from it two weeks ago as I was running out of space. But no space ever frered up even tho the chat person told me it would in several days. In the meantime, there can be no editing on any of my domains as there is no space. Really?
The customer service is excellent. Whenever I have an issue or question about my website, I call the customer service. They are very knowledgeable and patient to let me understand how to solve the problem.
One week after cancelling subscription all of my websites got "hacked" but i still have the account sooooooo

YOU ARE TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY SOMETHING THEY ALREADY HAVE USING THE TACTIC OF FEAR. $#*! YOU FOR DOING THAT. IT IS BAD PRACTICE AND UNETHICAL FROM A BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE. Chosen by an employee years ago. My firm has down-sized and now it is just me. So I just continue with HostGator. But I don't know what the different services my firm is in are for & what they cost. I now have minimal income & will like to just do what I have to while having hosting & e-mail.

Low initial price. Price after initial period is outrageous and not properly posted. I had to perform a Google search to find your actual pricing. Shady bait and switch tactics. I will be changing to a different hosting service.
