The newly designed dashboard interface makes it incredibly difficult to get to the basic control panel (Cpanel). I often have to click through about 10 different things to get to what I want. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating and is causing me to reconsider my move back to hostgator.
Site goes offline multiple times a week. Wordpress site gets mutiple "error connecting to database" errors daily.
Since they have upgraded servers my email forwards do not work and no one has ever been able to repair them due to change in software to a lesser mail app. I have been with Hostgator for over 30 years and always they have handled such things and made sure they got fixed. I have had to scramble to fix and patch and piece together ways for my clients to continue to receive their forwarded alias emails. All that and my rates have continued to go up almost every year lately. Yes disappointed.
I cannot contact HostGator to report that Order Number *******974 of 03/23/2024 reflects unauthorized and unapproved transaction, since the cardholder Lilit Sargsyan (President of Declipse Armenia NGO) did not order or approve the transaction resulting in the payment of $359.64 for "Hatchling Plan - Three Year Term" (See the screenshot below). The mentioned sum was withdrawn without her consent or approval of the cardholder. Declipse Armenia did not order a Hatchling Plan, and the service is not acceptable for a 3-year term. A notification was sent only post factum on behalf of the Ararat Bank CJSC informing the cardholder of the transaction and a resulting debt to the Bank. I would like to revoke the payment as soon as possible.
Very much impressed with HostGator. I haven't had any issues at all. When I need any support, it is responded and actioned immediately. Thanks a lot.
If subscription expires there should be a 30 day grace period so that emails are not affected.
If the payment fails due to some issue in the card we need time to resolve it with the bank and if there's a public holidays, resolution takes longer time.
