Not entirely happy as I was sent emails that I had 45 days after domain and service expiration to renew and lose content, only to find out that everything was lost anyway. The communication was absolutely incorrect as I had lost all of my website content and all of my emails associated with the account. However, the customer service was at least knowledgeable in getting me back online at the least, but I still had to start from scratch.

Other than that, it is a bit cumbersome to use. Too many places to log into, too many log in credentials to keep track of and having to reset your password too often.

I'm staying with Host Gator anyway because the functionality is good overall and I'm already used to it.

Some challenges with removing the coming soon page, and getting wordpress set up and functioning.

It has been great using hostgator service. They are highly recommended.

They found the issue and escalated it to a higher tier support.

I don't have an account with HostGator any more. My account expired back in March.

I'm not the most tech savvy guy, but Hostgator makes it easy to keep my website up and running, and their tech support always resolves any issues quickly and professionally.

My experience has been very good up until I renewed my hosting. Instead of the time being added to my current account, a new one was created. I've called numerous times and no one was able to figure out what happened or resolve the issue. So I paid or a three year hosting account for nothing.

Overall, phone calls resolve any issues.
Signing in can sometimes be challenging due to confusion depending upon what computer I use (for the computer to recognize passwords and/or the site requirements).

I almost gave you 4 stars but then I realized that everything I needed was provided. I had to build a fresh Drupal site and launch it within a very short window. HG's SSH access was perfect. The ability to generate pubkeys from HG allowed me to add a GIT repo when I feared I would have to go many rounds of support calls/chats/emails/etc to get that set up.
I'm a skilled Linux server admin but the client really wanted to use HG. I have to say, this went very very well! HG and your team offer a quality service that even Web Pros can appreciate and use.

They made me feel bad because I trust that company, I paid for 2 years and they automatically charged for 4 years. That's not right for them to do.

Very professional and dependable. We are very satisfied with HostGator.

Probably the best around, just a little expensive. Customer support is always taken seriously and offers a lot of satisfaction.

Excellent Service and Reliability for Over 14 Years

I've been using HostGator for over 14 years, and I can confidently say that their service is excellent. Everything has been well with my experience from the beginning.

Fair but hard to get customer service when you are locked out of the system.
