Its been over 2 months since I renewed my domain subscription. I have been trying to resolve the same complaints since. Its become rather frustrating and embarrassing that such a minor issue even after escalation has remained unsolved.
My business is grossly impacted and im practically on the verge of asking for contract termination with host gator.
Initially it took over 24hrs to get my domain and hosting up and running. It took two calls to customer service to be resolved. It was just a propagation issue but needed something to be done on your back end. Also took a further 24hrs for the SSL certificate to become live.
It was cheap and a forum I was on recommended it to me.

Pros:
- Overall reliable
- Company established long ago
- Clean and professional interfaces both on Portal and CPanel
Cons:
- Still missing crypto options payment in 2022 while competition has been offering it for years
- Customer support chat interface UI could be improved and adapted to neumorphism
