Extremely poor experience. I had to contact at least 10 times to do a simple job that could have been done in one go. Many of the support providers did not know what they are doing. I have been misguided many times.
Just waited for support to diagnose issue. Took approximately 3 days

I like the fact that with my limited tech knowledge I can do it myself.
No one told me my domain wasn't verified. I had to call twice to finally get the email to verify it.
If tech support had known that my website is HTML, not appropriate for the PHP software upgrade for which I received a notice, then it would have saved a lot of time. I was not able to get my website email and that problem resolved itself.
I have had a great experience using HostGator. The customer service reps in the chat room are very very helpful I've used them several times and I've been nothing but completely pleased.

Help desk is not really useful, and you don't provide good ways to improved Web site works. WordPoress is not working well with your system, a lot problems with Forms and email.
Answer: SITEGROUND FIXED IN HOURS WHAT HOSTGATOR DID NOT OR COULD NOT FIX IN 9 DAYS
Answer: The chat will get you to someone but they will never know what to do to help you. Courteous but useless.
