Just more familiar with it. But there are things I would change and a lot of the time it feels like HostGator doesn't care much for its own customers.
The new UI is confusing and it is taking way too long to transfer the domain I sold to the new owner, even though they have a Hostgator account.
After a mistake in transferring my account from baby server to pro server, it has taken me several phone call and plenty of frustration to get no where. I purchased two baby servers to accommodate the domains I wish to keep and I still can't get them moved. All the good reviews I gave for phone support ultimately were wrong. Nothing came of the calls. I'm still in limbo.
The new experience is terrible for these reasons:
1) I can no longer use Bitwarden to auto-enter my credentials. I have to manually copy/paste.
2) I get a popup every day trying to get me to pay more money. I already paid once, but I still get this screen
3) To get to the CPanel, I have to click "CPanel Email", then click cancel on the overlay, then click CPanel.
The two features I use the most are "Redirects" and "File Manager" within CPanel. It takes nearly a dozen clicks to get to these features. Ideally, I would have login credentials that take me right to CPanel instead of having to jump through all the click hoops to get ther.
Very often I have a problem with hosting. My server is often unavailable.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with domain names and hosting. I will be changing everything back to GoDaddy as they expire.
A little wonky at first, but you r tech support is ok.
I always used hostgator cause it was easy to navigate and overall experince was good. Since the UI changes everything sucks. I am not choosing hostgator again

Hi there, i bought one domain and website hosting, i have one shopify store oline and i would like to connect my domain there but i have many problem about it. First of all i got problem in SSL and i've already contacted support and they haven't been able to resolve it.

As a start-up, Hostgator was our choice for web hosting services; e-mail client is the best feature for us. So far, it has been useful, but we hope website building could be easier.
I don't like the new billing changes where you have to have a card on file..
I have different email address on my cpanel accounts and find it constantly frustrating that I can only have one email adressa open at a time (ie if Im on the 'info@. ' account the 'exams@... ' account will close. Please can this issue be looked into!

Dear Hostgaor! Firstly, wish you a happy new year. I've been a loyal customer to Hostgator for last 10 to 13 years. After migrating your customer support system to an Indian company or whatever, we faced so many issues. Their responding time, accuracy and respect is very low. In addition to this, your recent update is a very disappointment. I lost all my payment history, not providing due date extension, some technical features unavailable, some services you have discontinued etc... Kindly consider those facts. Still we have faith upon you and hope you will consider my suggestion. Anyway, wish you all the best. Thanks
