You all recently updated the ui, and I do not like it at all. For advanced users such as myself it takes way too many clicks to get to cpanel. A direct link to cpanel should be on the home screen. Also each time I log in, I see this screen encouraging me to add the enhanced privacy guard or whatever you all are calling it. I understand it's a sales tactic but why must I see it each time I login. Who is making the decisions at this company? Additionally my interaction with your first-level customer support has not been the best. The people I have corresponded with seemed to not know too much and take a long time to answer even basic queries.
Very expensive price for all packages for no extra options or benefits

I've been dealing with a virus that I keep getting even though I have SiteLock paid for, for another year. I had to hire an outside source to remove the virus because Hostgator wanted to charge me over 700.00 to take care of the virus. Since I don't have root access we can't kill the PHP server on our own. I've dealt with support and Manage who are unable to take care of it. I'm now in the process of switching to another Hosting company.
After somewhere near 10 yrs or so as a customer, the last few years & even recently your customer support followup is worse than ever! Multiple times I have called in & your customer support which seems to be overseas you DO NOT & HAVE NOT followed up and provided the solution(s) to my requests.
In particular regarding putting GoHireAVet.com back onto my reseller account so I don't waste the now over $220 paying extra for a Wordpress dedicated account that YOUR CS suggested I do because there were problems with loading the website, there's more issues but I've given up at this point trying to get the support I've paid for & the last year have WASTED over $200! 3 Stars was generous at best!

Since the beginning of December 2023, we have been systematically experiencing errors with the site; your team cannot or does not want to fix this problem. Soon we will be forced to abandon your hosting altogether

How you are going to compete with other hosting companies if sites goes down every few minutes, and you do changes on backend files without owners permissions, very bad service! Are you trying to force your customer to move another hosting if yes, then be clear with them and don't plat around guys, this is not professional business
Lies in the unauthorized and incorrect handling of my account and billing. Initially, I had subscribed to a WordPress plan, but during the Hostgator update on the 1st of December, my plan was changed to a Shared Hatchling Plan without my knowledge or consent. This unilateral decision was made with no communication or approval from my side, which is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
To make matters worse, there was an unauthorized charge of $46.23 made using my card details. This is a serious breach of trust and privacy. Adding insult to injury, your recent communication implies that I have not paid for a plan upgrade - a plan upgrade that I never requested nor authorized.
Now, I find myself in a situation where not only has my original plan been altered without my consent, but I am also being charged for services I did not agree to. This is not just poor customer service; it's a complete disregard for basic customer rights and data security.
Why did you change the portal login? It was fine the way it was before. It takes me 2 to 3 times longer to get where I need to go - specifically "boxtrapper" on the cPanel screen.
I changed to HostGator because my previous service became too expensive.
