Price & SSL certificate when Godaddy was charging for SSL. Your login security design is diabolically BAD from a security standpoint and user ease. Support is both friendly and "trying" as in they're trying to help but not always succeeding. Getting to speak to a knowledgeable admin is harder than walking into the Kremlin to speak to putin.

What has happened to Hostgator? I came in for the first time in a few months and there seems to be issues with my account? I told I am not secure and yet I pay for security through my account. (Please check invoices) Also, last time one of my websites does not chow on the cPanel.

Worst hosting account I have ever used. I used iPage, goDaddy, bluehost and HostGator is so far the most difficult to use, the most bags and connectivity problems. Will never recommend it to anyone
Im getting worried about HostGator. Too many fraudulent emails are being sent to me from someone who looks like hostgator.
Since they updated the server... im thinking to move my all accounts from here... its been 2 months issue is still at large... i don't know how they will fix and when it will be fixed

Hostgator has gone downhill steadily since it was acquired by EIG. The ~90% price increase with ZERO notice or explanation to its customers was pretty much the last straw. I'll be moving my hosting to a new service within the next 90 days. Hostgator used to be pretty good, but it just sucks now. If you are looking for hosting, Hostgator ain't it! Look elsewhere!
