The penalty for not buying the overpriced protection of all the domains we own is having hundreds of off shore call centers calling you non top throughout the day. I have been a customer for over 10 years and I am looking to change only because of this issue.
Months of constant chat support with no resolution, still taking my money for "hosting" my website when i haven't had access to edit anything via my wordpress since i bought the plan.
It's sooooo user UN-friendly on your site. Eek! It takes me 10 minutes just to re-find my site to try to make updates to it. You need to get some people who work on MAC's to make your site manageable. I hate coming here.

I've made my choise because Hostgator is a well known hosting company, and on the paper, it seemed to be the most interesting choise. Unfortunatly, the ******* Nodes limit is impossible to deal with if you have multiple email addresses and a medium website. Caching system broke my website and scripts are not working correctly on the website. Tested the same website on a low cost hosting service and it worked better. CloudFlare Integration not working too. Come on guys, update your node limit, at least! Ionos limits nodes to more than ******* files. Twice as much!
Your customer support has failed to help us renew our domain name for 6 weeks now. Everyone's very nice but nobody can get us an answer.

The dashboard has been confusing, the data given by support is very fragmented, we lost Sitelock service, eventhough we are going to have a refund, which we really appreciate, this provoqued our client to get pretty annoyed. Keep the good work guys have a great 2024
I have been with HostGator for couple of years, and now with their new design of their customers admin area stinks.
I have consistently received the same issue over and over, even after correction, it comes back. Now I am getting some network security issue on my sites... not happy with the level of support

Initially, a Dave Ramsey ad. Then, I love it over GoDaddy (my clients' previous host) and even Bluehost (I know they are in the same company as HostGator). I prefer the previous UX and layout in the portal. Not a fan of the new changes but that's life.
Terrible service. I am missing tools on my dashboard that I have paid for and for over a month i have been contacting support. They have no clue and don't care to help me. My production is on hold because of this.

The new navigation format is not very intuitive and I have trouble locating several services that I typically go to. For example, a direct link to the cpanel would be helpful.

Three times, I suddenly lost access to my website, domain and emails without notice and after contacted them there were no clear explanation on why this happened. I have contacted Hostgator three times and I always I got a bromis that it will be solved after two days or so but no progress. 767 USD is withdrawn from my account for a service that I never asked for and without my agreement, which they paid back but after effort. They did not respond to emails or some telephones but they do well to chat.
I didn't; I am just the infrastructure operations engineer. Sorry!
