I am very disappointed with my HostGator Experience. It was fine for a few months and then outa nowhere our site was removed...all payments were made, eery month Host Gator made sure to pull from our creditcard as long as funds were available it was gone. Yet no one, not 1 single agent could fix our issue. We havent been able to see our website for approximately 5months. At this point we've given up and it's sad that this is the result!

I thought it would be cheap and easy, but I was misled. Whenever I go to CPanel to log into Webbly, the link doesn't work. Also I keep getting new charges on my account I don't understand. I paid for the next three years or so I thought. GoDaddy is starting to look like a better option for me. I'm not sure if my linking issues have to do with using Mozilla Firefox as a browser, but it has never been a problem for me before. Right now, you're looking like a big waste of money. My SSL Certificate has expired and your tech support has no idea what to do. Also I purchased an VPS 2 months ago and have not heard anything from your company. I hope your company can resolve these issues soon. I have been with host gator for over 5 years and I don't want to look at other hosting providers.

New look and feel developed by tech geeks without deference to user experience. Control panel hard to get to. Consider giving up cute look for functionality. And of course with HORRIBLE tech support...
The system just deleted my email accounts, and I had to spend a long time with customer service to have it resolved. The billing accounts are constantly wrong, and I am unable to manage my domains from the control panel as nothing works right. I have to spend hours with customer service for every little change. I'll never recommend HostGator. HostGator used to be the best in the web business, but it is a wasteland of broken systems and poor customer service.
The new set up in the my account area is horrible The fact that it shows the websites under hosting too and then I have softalicious sites, keeps over lapping or something. I keep losing my sites. I can not work on them in file manager or even find plugin manager in wordpress anymore either. I am chancing host next month.

Poor customer service. I was told that it would take 2-5 business days for my account to be set up and running, instead it was a month, and I had to make over 20 calls, and send over 10 emails! It cost me a whole month of business traffic, I had no access to my email or website!
Cheap. However, I didn't realise the servers were only available in the US... Not ideal for a UK based website.
