Overall, the company has established a reputation for providing reliable services and competitive pricing, with many customers noting ease of use and effective technical support. However, concerns regarding customer service persist, particularly related to inconsistent support experiences and delays in response times. While some users have had positive interactions with knowledgeable representatives, others reported frustrations with unresolved issues and inadequate communication. Despite these challenges, a significant number of long-term customers express satisfaction and loyalty, indicating that while improvements in customer service are needed, the core offerings are generally well-regarded.

Still confusing to log-in and go to builder. I think it is due to changing the portal so many times I don't remember the logical path to my Weebly builder. I sure wish you would simplify this.
Hostgator provide a good and quick response service
I move some of my customers for another platform because my website where mess up and they can't help me, something about the cpu performance
You sent an email that told me my prices were going up, but the link in the email doesn't take me to where I can find the pricing.
Heard about it a long time ago from a co- worker. Been loving it ever since.
The raising of the price to nearly $700 dollars is unacceptable. I will be transferring service and would like a refund for the $687
Your "customer service" reps lie and double talk and hostgator does not care about a 17 year customer! Horrible customer service!
I chose HostGator after finally getting disgusted with BlueHost. Turns out, HostGator is not significantly better. I didn't know at the time that they were "sister" companies. HostGator's tools are fine, and the hosting is *reasonably* reliable--though you often make un-announced changes to your hosting environment which break things on my site and then I have to argue with your tech support for MANY, MANY hours and multiple phone calls to get them to realize and admit that it was YOUR fault that the site was broken.
Now I'm struggling with your tech support over DNS for a couple of domains. I'm on my 4th phone call/chat and the problem is still not resolved.
I hate to give the individual agents bad ratings, because they aren't really at fault. They're always trying to do their best, but they are either under-trained or lack appropriate access. There's some kind of basic structural problem with the way you handle support. I suppose that for very low-level/basic sites that are just Wordpress sites, it may be fine where the customers are very unsophisticated/non-technical, but I'm VERY frustrated with HostGator and am working actively to get my site off your service.
The big problem is your tech support. It's essentially useless.
I've given this feedback before and seen ZERO response or change.
Need to learn the new HostGator website changes. Liked the old setup.
Hart to get to my e-mails on the new updated version.
It is a mistake and i wi change to another company soon
Account compromised and I am unable to manage my domains and email. Very poor customer service. You should think about a us based system. I am still not up and running 100% and if I would have listened to your two customer service reps I would have never been able to operate my business. Zero stars.
Too many persistent popups asking to buy your products. Istead of constantly reminding possibly add an "opt out"?
The website not so fast. Server response time very bad
I've used it previously and was very happy with the customer service and UX experience.
I did a lot of research. We weren't very happy with GoDaddy. Price was also a major issue.
It's the best, all integrated, unlike others where mostly limited
I have been using host gator for years now and I'm constantly trying to figure out what the problem is with your email system.
I have talked to customer service MANY times to try and fix the issue with my emails going into spam. It happens across all domains but mostly *******@onlinetxhomes.com
I sell real estate and I can not have my email going to spam, its not all but many times. I need to get this resolved. I Each time I call for help I hear the same thing we sent it to ourselves and its find - ITS NOT FINE, it is happening.
Usually very responsive whenever theres an issue and issues are few.
I'm paying too much. I should be able to merge 2 hosting plans into 1 but I doubt you'd help. Where did the old cpanel go? I don't like the new one. Just usability is a mess.
Answer: SITEGROUND FIXED IN HOURS WHAT HOSTGATOR DID NOT OR COULD NOT FIX IN 9 DAYS
Answer: The chat will get you to someone but they will never know what to do to help you. Courteous but useless.
