I booked and paid for a room 5 weeks in advance. Received the confirmation of the reservation. So, a day before my trip they send me an email saying the room is not available. WHAT?! I call and they tell me a customer extended their stay and the room is not available for me. WHAT?! Agent tell me "Hilton guidelines specify if a client wants to extend their stay, they have priority". WHAT?! But I paid for the room 5 weeks ago! "Sorry sir those are our guidelines" So, apparently, the service provided Hampton Inn by Hilton to customers is like the wind, and the wind blows!

Worst stay ever!
March 23, 2022

Worst stay ever! Let's start from the beginning… we arrive around 5pm to check in, we were told the room we reserved was not available because of double booking, then when we decided to settle on the room we didn't want they told us the incidental deposit FOR LOCALS was $150! That's what we've paid at RESORTS for incidentals never this much for a weekend hotel stay! And there was ABSOLUTELY NO mention of this when we booked the reservation on the Hilton App! Because we were so upset with first not getting the room then getting hit with $150 incidentals deposit, the front desk tried to get us a better room but said we had to wait till it was cleaned. We got some Starbucks and came back, paid the incidentals and she handed us our keys, not saying anything about Wi-Fi, breakfast, or checkout like we heard her say to everyone else. One of our keys didn't work, the room smelled like someone poured bleach everywhere, there was only one trash can in the bathroom, the hot water took 15 minutes to get hot then only stayed hot for about 10. There were ants and nats in the room. When we went to check out we noticed they charged us an extra $355! Front desk couldn't explain it, and the manager TRUDY couldn't explain it, but instead of just saying "we're not sure why this happened we can look into it, sorry for the inconvenience", she tried to gaslight us, contradicting everything she was saying, making it seem like it was a normal charge and was supposed to happen! Absolutely the worst stay I've ever had! I will never be going back, and I 10 out of 10 DON'T RECOMMEND!

Far left politics
January 4, 2022

I recently saw a Hilton ad showing 2 men with a child walking into Hilton hotel room. I was about to decide to give Hilton $100,000+/year in business. I will not enable companies that kowtow to Leftist agendas. I have no problem with gay couples, however, they represent 1/1000 couples in USA, and they cannot have kids by NATURE, so why are they being promoted on TV?

For years now I have been using Hilton for just about everything related to my stays. I have been traveling domestically AND internationally, and it doesn't matter. These hotels are reliable, clean and packed with perks. They are friendly, dedicated, and go above and beyond. Iv'e never felt taken advantage of or swindled like some "perks" programs, and I truly believe that this is THE website for new travelers. You can help yourself or a loved one book a memorable trip that makes everyone feel safe, seen, and satisfied! I keep coming back, and probably always will.

Rooms are outdated and dark. Furniture is old and dark as well as outdated. Hotel lacks adequate staff to take care of issues. Bugs found in trash can in our room. Never any towels at the pool. Hotel charges $10 for using internet when no one else does. Tv's are out of date. Tv's actually pixilate to the point of not being able to see picture when an airplane goes over. Speaking of airplanes, they fly over at about 1,000 feet from Hotel every 45 seconds from 500am to about 200am. So loud one cannot sleep regardless of the room.

Amazing stay and service
April 29, 2021

I generally enjoyed my stay there. They were very clean unlike a previous hotel I went to that had roaches everywhere. The staff were very knowledgeable and actually WEREN'T RUDE like most customer service workers I've came across. The hotel I booked in (Jfk New York) had free shuttle service which is a must for me.

Tru Hilton in Oklahoma City was the best hotel I have stay at in a long time, The room was clean fresh smelling, The bed as super comfty, and very quiet, friendly staff, I will stay there again if I visit again. The breasfast was ok, the coffee was reallly good... If you do go to OK, go see the Memorial, it 's a very humbling experience, the other sights were wonderful too.

Great 5 stars hotel, good location, well decorated, huge Lobby but needs more furniture,
Easy check ion and check out.
Robot is serving the rooms, when you order anything from the Lobby, a robot will deliver you the order, and will call you by phone telling you that he is at the door waiting you.
Great location near Wandoo Plaza, and lots of pubs, restaurants and malls nearby.
Metro station is about 15 minutes walking.

Ripped Off
January 14, 2019

Hotel is decent, nothing special. Second time I have stayed there and they have never asked for an I'd prior to giving us our room key! Hilton Honors is a joke! I prepaid for the room to get the best rate and people checking in in front of me were getting a rate $30 less than I paid? I asked the front desk and they said since I booked direct they could not change it. I called Hilton reservations and the said since I pre paid I was stuck with that price. I stay "STAYED" exclusively@ Hilton hotels 30+ nights a year! Not anymore if they can't be loyal I will not be loyal either!

Stayed at the Hilton Harbor Island in San Diego recently. Nice clean hotel. I got a real good deal at Hotwire for it. Good service. Only complaint is that parking is $25/night! That's awfully steep for even San Diego, and it is just plain generic open parking.

I recently had dinner at the Hilton Inn restaurant (airport, Alcoa Hwy). The service was excellent. The food was "Excellent!" The Hilton Inn Knoxville airport has made a concerted effort to upgrade the quality of their dining; it shows and it worked. Food - excellent [I had the steak; it was prepared in the manner I had asked. WOW!]; service - excellent [the waitress was prompt, courteous, knowledgable, and most helpful.]. THE DINING AT THE AIRPORT HILTON INN is a QUALITY RESTAURANT.

I visited both Hilton Mekkah and Hilton garden in Istanbul.
Hilton Mekkah needs to be rebuilt, it's too old to keep its 5* but the service was nice.
I had a wonderful night at the Hilton garden in Istanbul, the 4* are well deserved there.

The Hilton.com site and app are down A LOT. Something is wrong with Hilton's technology and I'm getting ready to bail on them and move over to another Hotel chain because of it. Not good business. There's been many times I've tried to login to my reservations and I'm not able to because their app or website is not functioning. Brutal to say the least in September of 2017. Inexcusable. I've given them about $40,000. Of my business the past few years and their technology is pushing me away.

Hilton longBeach Resort Hurghada Was a little disappointed to find the Fish Restaurant not open but Samesh Gohar turned that around and made us happy with a special meal the little things like this goes a long way. Galal Osman, Ahmed Hamdy and Abanob Toto gave outstanding service throughout my two weeks there I travel the world and am used to good high standards but these guys were genuine we were taken back by these guy's and Hilton are very lucky to have staff as good as these perhaps they could guild and coach other staff to there standard. I have never written a review about staff at a hotel before and felt this couldn't go unrecognized... only down fall was for some reason they never had wine at the pool bars only spirits and couldn't get to the bottom of why, my boyfriend and I only drink wine nothing else and seemed such a fuss to have a glass/ plastic cup wine by the pool but served spirits that is stronger and more expensive than wine!
But that was the only thing

Thank you in particular to the names above they were not your run of the mill bar/pool guy's as compared to the other areas of service was ok but these guy's were simply amazing also Ashrkat Hamada always greeted us with a big smile

Had occasion to spend one night at the Hilton Buenos Aries at the termination of an Antarctic Cruise. Travel agent who booked the cruise from Alberta, Canada, was unfamiliar with hotels in Buenos Aries, so thought Hilton should be a safe bet. Wrong!
Fist of all, the Hilton probably was among the premier hotels there at one time but it has become very dated. Secondly, its like diving into a pool of leaches. They purport to provide all sorts of services but unless you have your wallet out, you get nothing! No free Wi-fi, no free internet, ridiculous prices for food and drinks, a mediocre room for US$400 a night. And they recommended a local guide who ripped us off for $100. Probably get treated better at a hostel.
