I was just in a live auction placed my bid waited to see if anyone else would outbid me the timer hits 0 and closes then they claim ive lost the bid even though i have the highest bid and a working payment method setup with them scummy experience also the other item i supposedly won on they are now claiming i MIGHT have one not actual conformation saying i won even though once again i was the highest bidder on close the site now displaying out bid even though the last bid was placed by me at 32.50

First time online auction buyer. Figured it out with relative ease for on old school person.
Well, I do understand that the site cannot be aware of all of the auction companies which scam customers on their platform, HIBID allows companies that they know are misrepresenting inventory and/or using shipping schemes to rip off customers, such as WEISS LAKE AUCTIONS LLC, and AUSTIN YORK LLC, which has several auctions a month. There is a reason they do not allow you to review individual auction houses. You can see in the photos the rugs I received. They had been sprayed with malodorous dye/paint, which transferred to my hand when I touched them.

I have been using Hibid for 5 yrs. The handling fee starts at $1 and I have seen it at $5 on some auction...so you pay a buyer premium at 15-18% then 13% tax and then your so called handling fee. This handling fee was introduced when covid started and now it is just a money grab. Stop screwing people

I very much enjoyed bidding on your HiBid auction sites whenever I can. The real reason that I do not bid on HiBid very much is because majority of the auctions are all in the USA and I live in Canada. It is the dollar exchange differents that I do not like and the cost of shipping cost a lot more to have the items shipped to me. I do make bids across Canada in BC, Alta, and Sask, for I know what the shipping cost would be about and I do not have to worry about the Canadian USA Dollar exchange rate,
