I had to enter my credit card info 3 times before it was accepted, which was frustrating. During the auction, the platform would not allow me to bid. I ended up using the email links on my phone each time I was outbid in order to enter a bid. It was not a user friendly experience.

I was about to make the bids I wanted in the timeframe I wanted.
This new online format works really well and shortens the auction time. Much more convenient for buyers!
Title is self explanatory. I went to pick up my items and they could not be found. Come to find out that one of the people there sold my items earlier in the week. So I won nothing. I did receive my money back but the entire purpose of doing an auction is to buy something neat at a cheap price. In my case it was some old bar signs that can be expensive. Disappointed

While bidding on items, the count down timer was often off by several minutes. The app crashed multiple times causing me to loose out on items. Very frustrating.

While the machine was noted as "used" at the bottom of the listing, a photo of a new machine was also a part of the listing. This contradiction didn't tell the whole story. The machine was incomplete and unusable and clearly a scam by the person who wanted it sold. So much for HiBid and the auction house on this sale. Never more.

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
