The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

Just one issue in disconnecting a few times by Hibid server. Otherwise a fun experience.
Website stopped working a few times during live bid. It ended up making me sign back in and while I was doing that I noticed an item I had not noticed before but it ended up closing before i could get a good look at it.
I enjoyed the auction and the pickup was wonderful! Great people
Been a good experience, the problem is I can't quit and I have no place left to put stuff.
Its like driving old car. From 1960s. It kind of gets you were you want to go but you wish you had something touch more modern.
Easy to use. Really like that I don't lose my place when I look at the details of an item.
Some auctions are good and others are not. The Shipping is terrible on some and others not. Some I would like to bid on but no shipping and even if they do ship it makes you not want to bid cause it's too much to ship. Why would one silver dollar cost 9-12 dollars to ship.
Several times over the last 4 months, the software or screen freezes, and to unlock it requires me to sign off & reload. In most cases, I could recover, but in 2 instances, I lost out on the item I was bidding on. The auction house insists it not their local webservice, its all in the Hibid software. I'm an avid repeat bidder, but it would be great for the issue to be resolved. Seems to occur when switching to the "bid live" screen. Thanks for the service you provide.
Thanks for your feedback, and sorry for the delayed reply. We really appreciate you as a repeat bidder and understand how frustrating it is to deal with screen freezes—especially when it results in missed items.
It’s helpful to know the issue tends to occur when switching to the “bid live” screen. For better stability, we recommend using the mobile browser, which tends to perform more reliably during live bidding.
Thanks again for sticking with us, and we hope future auctions run much smoother for you!
The last two times with Sort My Stuff out of Kearney I haven't received invoices. And before that she personally texted them to me. She said to contact you guys.
Thanks for your feedback, and sorry for the delayed response. We understand how frustrating it is not to receive your invoice—especially when communication was smoother in the past.
Invoices are managed directly by each auction house, so if you haven’t received one, we recommend reaching out to the seller again for a resend. That said, we're happy to help connect you or check into it further if needed.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope your next experience is more seamless.
It's been a good experience with this site. They list a lot of auctions to choose from.
I use Kraft Auction Service almost exclusively. They start ON TIME… and everything is structured perfectly. Kraft's Staff is very… VERY efficient, fast, and very friendly! I look forward to "Next Time"!
Overall great experience. Going to pick up items is always easy. They are quick to help and always pleasant.
I Need to be more careful about reading shipping and payments. One auction I recently won had notice I missed about no out of state credit cards. Sent msg about getting total on itmes and shipping so I can send cashiers check. Won't do that again, and then there was a Canadian auction. Never figured how to make payment, so many restriction. I could not find anywhere I could send payment, so I had to bow out.
I was the high bidder for the item I bid on, but the auctioneer chose a lower in house bid as the winner.
Thank you for your feedback, and apologies for the late reply. We understand how disappointing and confusing it can be to place the highest bid online and still not win the item.
While auctioneers have discretion in accepting bids—including in-house ones—transparency is key, and we agree it should be clear how bidding is handled. We recommend reaching out directly to the seller in cases like this, and we’re happy to assist in facilitating communication if needed.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope for a better experience in the future.
Sencillo y facil de pujar en los articulos y estan asegurados que es muy importante, una vez sufri un fraude grande en otra casa de subastas.
I found hibid and my addiction to auctions was started. Easy to use and seems secure. Everyone on the platform is friendly and helpful when something goes wrong.
I use HiBid fairly often because I can find lots of good estate sales. However, using the HiBid app is next to impossible, and the website is not much better. The app constantly locks up and has to be shut down. Not at all good for bidding on auctions; it locks up, delays, and fails to refresh so often you will lose bids hassling with the app. It does have considerably better search ability than the website (the only reason I keep the app).
The website is the only way I trust to bid on auctions, however the lack of search capabilities of the website make hard to find auctions in my area, without using the Map feature. The map is interesting but it is a painfully slow way to find auctions ending soon in my area. Also, I really don't like the layout of the website. The catalog pictures are small and the text is hard to read. Many other auction sites have much more visually appealing websites.
Thanks for your detailed feedback, and apologies for the late reply. We’re glad to hear you enjoy the variety of estate sales on HiBid, but we understand the tech challenges you’ve experienced—especially when it affects bidding.
We appreciate your input on both the app and the website. While we’re glad the search tools are useful, we know layout, performance, and ease of use are just as important. Your suggestions about search improvements, visual layout, and local auction discovery are all noted and valuable.
Thanks again for sharing your experience—and for continuing to stick with HiBid. We hope future updates make things a lot smoother.
HiBid auction keeps you well informed on articles for auction. Their platform is easy to use online.
The platform makes it very easy to view and bid on items. During large auctions, items placed into specific categories is very helpful and saves me a lot of time.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.

Thanks for your feedback, and apologies for the late reply. We get the comparison—it’s a fair one! While the platform still gets the job done, we understand the desire for a smoother, more modern experience.
Your input is appreciated, and we hope future updates bring things closer to what you’re looking for.
