The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

Hindi is so easy to navigate, to use. I have bid on items in my home state and other states and have had the smoothest buyer experience. All items have been exactly as the seller described and so worth the money!
I reviewed my want items. Figured out my max bid on each. Made my bids. Then went to sleep. First thing next morning I checked my wins and my outbids. Always fun.
Hibid is good but has gotten too popular to fast. Years ago you could get unbelievable deals. Now so many people bidding that some lots go for higher than retail prices. It's hit or miss now. With the influx of people has created a new problem ith hibid, the site freezing and crashes alot now. I regularly get disconnected several times during a auction now. This was never a problem 5-8 years ago.
Thanks for your feedback, and apologies for the late reply. We appreciate that you've been with HiBid for years, and we understand how the platform’s growth has changed the experience—both in bidding dynamics and performance.
We’re sorry to hear about the site freezing and disconnections during auctions. That’s definitely not the experience we want for our users. As for support delays, we also regret that you didn’t receive timely or helpful responses—we're working to improve that.
We truly value your continued use of the platform and hope future auctions feel smoother and more rewarding.
Sorry, I wouldn't recommend this service. If I fill out all the information, handle all the payment crappola and then don't receive an invoice and lose my items...
Thanks for your feedback, and sorry we didn’t get back to you sooner. That experience sounds incredibly frustrating—especially after taking the time to register and bid.
Invoices and payments are managed directly by each auction house, so if you didn’t receive one, we recommend reaching out to the seller for clarification. We're happy to help connect you if needed.
We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope we can help make future auctions smoother for you.
Usually everything goes pretty smooth, just happens today that I bid on a lot that I was the winning bidder when the time had expired and the lot was flashing "Closing" and then another bid was allowed to register. I ended up buying the lot but had to wait an additional 5 minutes and it cost me $20. So not a horrible experience but I was a little annoyed at the time.
Bid on an item, go pick it up if you win the bidding, no hassles, miss the old time auctioneer calling the bids. Overall i would recommend HiBid
It's very easy to use this site. Very useful. Haven't had any roblems. Thank you so much.
Great auction with no problems. Doesn't matter what clothes one has on while attending an on-line auction. Looking forward to next one.
Man this was the most exixiting bidding i have ever done... its one hell of a experience i think this is the only place i will bid on agaian
Very easy to navigate and use for bidding on auctions from any where without having to be there.
I bid paid for and scheduled with no problem, untill I went to pick my stuff up. Was told they were having an issue with the scheduling computer. I waited 1 1/2 hours for my stuff to come out
Thanks for your feedback, and sorry for the late reply. We’re glad to hear the bidding and payment process went smoothly, but we’re really sorry to hear about the long wait at pickup—that’s frustrating, especially with scheduling in place.
Each auction house manages their own pickup process, so we always recommend reaching out ahead of time if anything seems off. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope your next pickup is a faster one.
Happy bidding!
Bidding was easy, Pickup was easy! Nice folks! Well pleased!
I follow Hibid, far and wide. Yesterday I bought an Item in Newfoundland.
Very pleased
I have found so many great deals on HiBid! I watch for all the local auctions each week and can't believe how often I even find brand new items. It saves me a lot of money.
A decidcated app or better outbid notification system would be welcomed. I notice I do not always recevie outbid notifications in a timely enough manner to take action
I've been using HiBid for years now, I'm a reseller as well as a consumer, live if the middle of flyover country and need an active way to source for my business. One of the things that I love about the program is you can set your filters to find almost anything, however you really need to be wary of the consequence of your choices...ie...USA or Canada and Shipping or No Shipping Auctions. I also have my set auctioneers, the ones that I love and trust, and although they send me emails with upcoming auctions, I can quickly look them up by name and see what they have.
I really love HiBid!
The site froze up once, had to close out and go back in so as to unlock
I have purchased at alot of auction sites yours is one of the best to work with
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.

Thanks for your review, and sorry for the delayed reply! Sounds like you’ve got a solid strategy—and a great attitude about the ups and downs of bidding.
Glad to hear you're having fun with it, and we hope your future wins keep rolling in!
Happy bidding!
