I enjoy the auctions, however we rely on good descriptions and good pictures of what is being sold. Showing all damages pointing out bad areas. This past auction we called and left a message and never got a return call. There was a trailer we would have bid on but no size and length listed.

I dont have any complaints it works well. If you need feed back fix the glitch that makes me go through all the lots. When I pick an item I want more information on then want to go back where I left off it will sometimes go back to the 1st lot. Not a big deal when there's 100 lots, but when there's 400 and get sent back to #1... anyway it works fine for me.

The website is great from a workstation or laptop, it is easy to use and navigate. Unfortunately the same can not be said when using it from a smartphone. It is functional but navigate is more difficult and the display is atrocious. Only seeing one item on my screen at a time when trying to view the catalog is not a sustainable way to view the auctions.

The album auctions I was in I was bidding against myself? I bid up a few albums tgat j alone was bidding a guy had 2 auctions going on at same time and I was thinking they were different the lot numbers were the same on some example I was bidding on Beatles rubber sole against myself

Contacted auctioneer after wining item he was very good. And they did not charge me sales tax because I live in a no sales tax state

Hibid is not able to help you and you will be allone with the auction house (if they answer the phone and emails).
Hibid is a platform for auction houses and they cover for them not for the buyer.
If the buyer don't pay will be not be able to bid again,when auction house receive your money (wire tranfer,BIG MISTAKE DON'T EVER DO THAT),and they don't sent you your items you bought and paid will be able to condinue posting auctions on Hibid.
That is what I have learn talking to four different hibid persons for my bad experience with Vail International Inc that i have lost so far $2,473

Vail International Incorporated Pasco WA is the auction company I have bid items last and I have the worst experience.
Very difficult to communicate with the company none answer the prone and not respond on emails before during and after the auction.
A few days after I have paid my invoiceI received email with tracking number waiting couple days and today 12/23/24 i try to track my items.
I find out the delivery was made to a wrong address instead to San Pedro Ca the items was delivered to Fort Lee NJ today at 11:30.
I call the auction company and no answer and evetually when someone answered he said he will wake up and talk to the owner Keny Jechine

Got to the auction they couldn't find anything I bid on had a car parked in front of the forklift I won(nothing like description said it ran. That thing wouldn't take thousands of dollars to run again, I don't even know if that would help)at auction told me to move it gave me keys it didn't run it took 6 hours to get out of where they had it.it was the worst auction experience I'll never get anything from them again

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
