The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

All good. Watch list helps track. Successfully bought 3 items.
Easy enough to make a bid. Can be painful during a live auction as the lots keep shuffling up the screen using a phone browser. Hard to browse through the moving lineup. Also wish there was a way to see what the final sale price was on items.
Hi Jeff! Thanks for your feedback. Glad to hear bidding is easy, but we understand how live auctions can be tricky on a phone browser with the moving lots. We’re always working on improvements and appreciate your input! As for final sale prices, that depends on the auction house, but we’ll pass along your suggestion. Thanks again for sharing your experience! 👍
Sold a "new" television that came with no remote, scratches across the screen.
Hi Ashley, We’re really sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like this item didn’t meet your expectations, and we understand your frustration. We recommend reaching out to the seller directly to discuss this issue, as they may be able to assist. If you need help contacting them, feel free to let us know. Thank you for sharing your feedback!
Bidding process did go smoothly but I did have one small issue that I was able to identify and take care of. As I would transition from my current bids to live auction the system would open another tab. I did not realize that I had multiple tabs open for the live auction. A small amount of time difference between the different tabs occurred but I caught it and closed all the tabs except one. Once I took care of that everything went smoothly.
Hi Miguel! Thanks for your 4-star review! 😊 We're glad to hear the bidding and billing processes went smoothly overall. It sounds like the extra tabs caused a little hiccup, but we're happy you were able to catch it and get everything sorted. Thanks for sharing your experience, and we hope your future auctions go even more smoothly!
It was smooth bidding and then pick up was effortless. Wonderful overall experience.
Hi Larry! Thanks for the 5-star review! 😊 We're so glad to hear you had a smooth bidding experience and an easy pickup. We really appreciate your feedback and hope your future auctions are just as wonderful! 🎉

Second time customer. Both experiences horrible.bought a laptop, drove 1.5 hours they couldn't find it got caught in a snowstorm and wasted 5 h for nothing. First experience half the things I bought were broken
Hi Aleksandar, We're really sorry to hear about your negative experiences, and we can understand how frustrating that must have been. We recommend reaching out directly to the seller or auction house to address these issues, as they may be able to help resolve any problems. Additionally, there are other sellers you can explore for future auctions. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope your next experience is much better!
Hi Rod! Thanks for the 4-star review! 😊 We're glad to hear you enjoyed the bidding process and that everything went smoothly. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you back again soon!
I like being able to set a max bid and not have to babysit an auction. Sometimes I'm not able to watch the auctions.
Hi John! Thanks for the 5-star review! 😊 We're glad to hear you enjoy setting a max bid and not having to constantly watch the auction. Happy bidding, and hope you continue to have a great experience! 🎉
Very good, very nice! I really liked it! I'll wait for the continuation!
Hi Leonid! Thanks for the 5-star review! 😊 We're so glad you liked it! We can't wait to have you back for the next round of bidding. 🎉
Great first time experience with HiBid. Easy to bid and terrific auctioneer to deal with. Was very friendly and helpful with pick up -- even helped take items to the car.
Thanks for your 5-star review, Mary! We're so glad you had a great first experience with HiBid. It’s wonderful to hear the seller was helpful—hope to see you back for more auctions soon! 😊🎉
Why do i lose a bid after time on my screen goose away i think i won the bid but find out when pick up i didn't
We understand how confusing that can be. If you believe you've won a bid, it's always best to wait for the invoice or reach out to the seller directly to confirm your winnings before heading to pick up. Sometimes bidding activity may continue in the final moments, and refreshing your screen can help ensure you’re seeing the latest results.
If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to our support team at (844) 775-4774. We're happy to help! 🚀
The bidding is easy. I see they took my money but I did not get an itemized invoice which I find very troubling. Have no idea what the breakdown was of the items versus commission, tax, etc... I did not see any way to contact HiBid to question.
We're glad to hear you found bidding easy! If you haven't received an itemized invoice, we recommend checking your email's spam or junk folder, as sometimes invoices can end up there.
Since each auction house manages its own sales and invoices, we recommend reaching out to the seller directly for a breakdown of charges. If you’re unable to get in touch, our support team at (844) 775-4774 is happy to help facilitate communication.
First time participating, it was pretty cool. Looking forward to the next one! I got some pretty good deals for sure. Thanks
We're so glad you enjoyed your first auction experience! Thanks for your 5-star review—hope you have many more great wins ahead. Happy bidding! 🚀🎉
Excellent no problems I especially like your practice of putting more time on the clock when making a last minute bid.
We're glad to hear you had an excellent experience! The extended time on last-minute bids helps keep things fair and exciting. Thanks for your 5-star review, and happy bidding! 🚀🎉
Four years now I believe I have been on hi bid, and no problems at all. However, know your auctioneer. Just like everything else.some good and some not so much.
We appreciate your four years of support on HiBid! It’s great to hear you’ve had a smooth experience. You’re absolutely right—getting to know the auctioneer is key to making informed bids. Thanks for your review, and happy bidding! 🚀🎉
I was the max bidder, I watched the clock run down. The final price didn't even reach my max bid. The next day I got an email that my bid was not accepted. The listing did not show any "reserve not met" message. It is quite frustrating.
I went back to the auction site and there was a line in the fine print that they had the right to refuse any bid. Why not show a reserve if there is one? Why not give the winning bidder at least a chance to increase the offer?
Hi Tom, we understand how frustrating that experience must have been. Since each auctioneer manages their own listings and terms, policies like bid refusal or hidden reserves are set by the seller, not HiBid. We always recommend reviewing the auction's terms and conditions beforehand, but we understand that transparency is important.
If you have concerns about how a specific auction was handled, we recommend reaching out directly to the seller for clarification. Thanks for your feedback!
I was watching the auction live and the site kept going down. It was irritating especially because I was bidding on many items.
We understand how frustrating it can be to experience interruptions during a live auction, especially when actively bidding. While occasional connectivity issues can occur, we’re always working to improve platform stability for a smoother experience. If you run into any issues in the future, feel free to reach out to our support team at (844) 775-4774, and we’d be happy to assist.
Thank you for your feedback—we appreciate you being a part of the HiBid community!
I'll never agree that an online auction is better than a live auction BUT I will admit hibid auctions are easy to participate in. Simple to browse, bid, and buy. I've never had any issues. Questions are always answered quickly. I feel like they run a pretty tight ship and will continue to bid on hibid auctions.
We appreciate your thoughtful review! While nothing quite replaces the energy of a live auction, we’re glad to hear that HiBid makes online bidding easy and enjoyable for you. It’s great to know you’ve had a smooth experience, and we’re always here if you have any questions. Thanks for being a valued bidder—happy bidding! 🚀🎉
1) With HiBid, the amount of the winning bid is not shown to the public. So I might have been interested in a lot, but not have bid on it. Still, I am educating myself in values. So, please consider listing the value of the winning bid. Many on-line sites do so, for example, "Invaluable".
Thank you for your feedback! We understand that seeing final winning bid amounts can be helpful for research and value estimation. However, on HiBid, it is entirely up to each seller whether they choose to display this information.
If you're looking for market value insights, there are other resources available that might help. We appreciate your input and will continue to pass along suggestions like this to improve the platform. Thanks for being a part of the HiBid community!
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
