Don't use max bid. In a recent auction I noticed all the items I would max bid on the same individual would always bid $1 lower than my max bid I would list bumping it to the max bid amount.

I recently made a bid and won several items on different lots. One suggestion would be to have specific and defined fields for information such as product new or used and buyer premiums. This way would be harder for sellers to hide this information in the description, etc.

All is good with Hi Bids BUT You should include shipping prices tied to the buyers zip code. That would make a difference on how much I would bid or to bid at all. Then goodwill site does this.

The benjamin air rifle arrived in a timely manner. It was packaged well and was in great condition.

The site offers great products and an ease of use. Where it falters is the unrestricted ability for sellers to add shipping and handling without itemization or dispute. I purchase from here, private sellers, and the huge auction app. The private guy pads it the most and uses mailers designed for the comics I buy. My cost is $10 for a shipment of up to 11. The bay can run from any 5 to 10 for the equivalent with some sellers pushing it to 12. But hibid just had a seller charge $30 for shipping 3 comics with no explanation and no break down in the shipping terms. This is way over market rate. Another auction charged me about 13 for an oversized box, which was market rate. Too much leeway to pad the charges without a buyers right to dispute.

I won several lots from Air Capital Market Place a few weeks ago. When my items arrived there was one lot missing. I emailed them but have never gotten a response. It was lot # 2036, 12/30/24

Not sure what happened, but ever since the app shut down the website has been horrible to access. My wife and I ran it on 4 different devices and while we can quickly open any other webpage, HIBid takes an incredible amount of time to load or refresh. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
