The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

I won and paid for an item. The item was damaged and not as described. I contacted Encore and we decided a partial refund would be acceptable. I have never received the refund and am now being ignored by Encore.
Kyle the owner is completely unprofessional. Do not do business with this man. And this website is bull$#*!. So I have been signed up for a month. I ordered a few sports cards along with other items. I was at my day job, in meetings.
An auction ended last night for two baseball cards. I proceed to get a ton of nasty text messages from Kyle. I thought maybe it was an auto text. An auction was less than 12 hours old. The auctioneer went and blacklisted me and Kyle sent me all the screen shots. Then he tells me to learn how to pay my bills. Dude, you sell cards for a living and Im sure drive a 20 year old Honda and live with your mother. I do not need a bombardment of nasty texts because you didn't see my purchase history. Telling me that I have no money and how unprofessional I am?
I will be emailed HiBid with the load of screenshots that he sent me that were just nasty.
Business school, Kyle. Business School.
Awful company that hosts auction houses that inflate bidding through their computers, set catastrophic shipping costs and then make you pay for it even though it's not the right shipping cost. Spread lies and slander you even though it was their fault and the issue is there an their unprofessionalism altogether. Once I've purchased an item and they charged me $60 for shipping without even asking my permission to charge the card. That item then arrived not in the same condition as described the dolls I've purchased were not new but they were all open. Then another experience I had again they charged my card without permission and then lied about shipping the order out, I waited for a week for my order that never arrived and when I contacted them they told me they dispatched it but then checked and said they never have. After I'd ask them to do their job they slandered my name saying that I disrespect them mistreat their workers canceled my entire order and banned me from an auction. I mean these people are disgusting I honestly do not know of a different word to use. And they're going to get what's coming to them that is for sure because karma always pays off in full. You are this nasty this malicious to the people, do not expect anything good to come to you. You will be struggling for the rest of your life until you find your grave. This entire website is overall shady. Do not spend your money there.

Hibid would be a five star if they never use Hidden Creek Estate Services here in Texas. Worst run online auction I have ever used. Nothing was labeled by lot or item. The woman who ran the auction, Kristy Bundy, was the rudest woman I have ever met. She told us to be there between 3:30 and 4:00. We arrived at 3:50. She was on a conference call with her other job, and told me I would have to wait until 4:30 to help us. She had only one man helping her who she treated even worse. He was kind, but with nothing labeled, he had a very difficult time finding anything. Long story short, I had no way of knowing that the lots were complete. I told her things were missing, but she just became even more rude. It took an hour and 45 minutes to finally get our things. When we got home, I pulled up the photos that she refused to do for us at the location, and she hadn't given us a lot with 19 items in it, and another lot was missing 5 items. We also had to return 4 items that weren't ours, so she messed up other peoples lots as well. We had to return the next day and pick up our things and leave the items. She never said thank you and was still a horrible person. Moral of the story... Never use Hidden Creek Estate Services!
LOT #471 1883S MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR GRADED MS66. JUST REURNED FROM PCGS
AU DETAILS-CLEANED. SUPPOSEDLY GRADED BY ANGS AS MS66 BUT AUCION HOUSE

I've tried to clarify with them about the change of date of the bedding shown and didn't get an answer.
The ending of the bedding seems manipulated.
Won several items on Auction Sale 29, I drove from Hamilton to London to pick up items. The auction lost one of the items. Promised a refund. No refund to date. Won a Rowenta fan. Fan does not work and came without remote. Defective. Sent two emails and left message for Customer Service asking for refund. No reply. Terrible Experience.
The sell broken $#*! and are dishonest a $#*!! Made you think they were new when they were all locked up.
Very Simple: THEY ALLOW NEGATIVE REVIEWS FROM PETTY LITTLE A-HOLES AUCTION HOUSES TO GO UNANSWERED OR EVEN GET THE CONSUMER SIDE OF THE STORY…..
On date March 18,2021, I placed bids on Hibid.com for items from TexMax, I paid but never received. I called Hibid and TexMax but unfortunately, I never received any response. Please be aware.
Hibid ran an auction in Macon, MO and closed the auction an hour early. Anyone bidding could see by the timer the auction would end early. After the auction closed and I had won several lots, they opened it back up an hour later. The majority of the items I had previously won got jacked up sky high and ran long after the auction was supposed to close the second time. This all seems a really strange way to run an auction. I won't be doing anymore bidding on auctions through them OR the auction service that used them for this auction.
Hibid is nothing but a software platform many shady auction houses use. Hibid shields these auctions houses by allowing them to leave feedback about bidders, accessible to each other, but hidden from the bidders. Bidders also have no way of knowing whats written about them until they been denied the ability to bid. Bidders have no recourse or any way of rating these shady auction houses. It's no wonder HiBid ranks 80th (as of this writing). Stay away.
I just notice PALMYRA NJ HOME IMPROVEMENT AUCTION keep adding time to the countdown many many times when the time is closer to expire, even there is no additional bid. And Hibid allow them to do so. Scam Business.
Lots of fake bidders and dishonest sellers and the worst thing is that you can't deactivate your account and it allows sellers/auctioneer to see your maximum bid
Yes I won three bids they were fast to collect and charge me shipping after two months and sending texts and e-mails they keep coming up with reasons it did not ship I would say all other auction that I have won on other sites have been great but here is a VERY BAD AUCTION HOUSE
Auctioneers can commit any fraud or lie as bad as they want and there is nothing you can do. If you try they just blackball you.
Encore Auctions: Bought 6 items and all had issues: we were disgusted
No email nor voice mail response from the company (1 hour trip to get this junk)
Router - dead board, Coffee maker - used!, Bissel vac grossly used (disgusting), SH can (broken)
Why would Amazon allow these broken, used and maggoty items to be resold?
THESE AUCTION SITES NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN
I couldnt get all items packed up t when I went back next day some of the larger milkglass items were gone from the auction wagons they said I couldnt remember getting them already. It's a scam they disappeared 6 large milkglass peices then lied said I couldnt remember what all I'd picked up day before. It was my word against theirs. Do not recommend D. Buntin auctioneer service at wayland mo. No way to dispute them. Hi Bid is not Better Buisiness Bureau accredited.
I spent about $6000 on this site from approximately 200 bids and their site is do organized I can tell who I have left to pay but they go and leave bad reviews of you as bidder and the other auction houses start blocking you. I called hi bid to ask them who I owed but they said they can't tell. When I look at the list of purchases I can't tell who I've paid yet or not because their names don't match their invoices, and I don't know if the item is on its way or cancelled. Same complaint as others that this site is too difficult to search for items and too difficult to pay for your items not to mention the crazy extra fees they add on.
I'm done after I get my last items I'll go find a new auction house to use.
1/3rd of items came to me broken from some auction houses that did ridiculous wrapping and they go on to blame the shipping and make me chase them down for any results.
It is annoying to search for items and several of the purchases I made were broken. Descriptions of items did not mention damages to the items. Exercise equipment was broken as were two lights I purchased. I will not be using this auction house again.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
