Bidding was ok! I hate how long it takes for the auctions to close though. The best part of this auction (Sanger Auctions) was the atmosphere when picking items up. Very organized and friendly! They were even willing to help load items! They even had iced down drinks for all customers for free! Very much appreciated! Thank you!

I have always had a positive experience with the local auction using the HiBid platform. Auctions run smoothly and terms are clear. I spent over $400 at ATXOKC auction. I understand the auction said as is, but it also states the products were in a box and there were no missing pieces. That was a blatant lie definitely buyer beware.

Half way through live auction was disconnected… "…lost connection and attempting to auto reconnect. Never reconnected but entering bids through auction catalog worked with a delay so you guys missed out on me possibly bidding higher.

For the most part I've had a great experience. The amount of notifications are a bit excessive, and I can't tell if I've been outbid in real time without a delay, but it gets better with each update.

As the timer was going to bid live... myself or someone else would bid against me the timer would go from like 1 min back up to 3 min very frustrating and it should not be aloud

Showed top bid at close (could bid no more, locked) But after auction was over there was a higher bid after pre bid closed?

Is there a way to delete from a current bid list if we know we won't be bidding on a item anymore. Also can't seem to get my statement I tap on settlement In my email and it just goes back to my email

This was my first online auction, and there were several (okay, many) lots that I was interested in obtaining. Registering with HiBid was easy, but then finding the specific auction was very confusing. When I found it, I quickly figured out how to place my bids and set my bid limits, but I couldn't find any descriptions of the lots I was bidding on. I could see titles, such as "COE 96 half sheets and... " but never found out what the "... " said. Or "Half sheets of COE 96," but nothing about what colors they were, opaque or transparent, etc. That was very frustrating. Also frustrating was the last minute bidding, which took several lots from $4.00 to $54.00. I understand that this is part of auction strategy, I'm just saying it is frustrating. Also, when an item went to live bidding on my watch list I often couldn't find it right away in the catalog page to which I was taken on my screen. All in all I found it to be an exhilarating experience, I won the lots I really wanted, I spent way too much, and I would do it all again.

I sell on 7 platforms and I buy on dozens…I came across this site so I could bid on items and resell them on other platforms. I found out VERY FAST that there are shady sellers on this site that can freely run scams, overcharge you for shipping by hiding costs, and sell you items with hidden defects. What can you do about it? NOTHING.
Hi-Bid Customer service is terrible, you have to go through your bank and do charge backs to resolve shady AF seller issues…AND when you do… I found out the Auctioneers keep notes that only other auctioneers can read about you & they can essentially say whatever they want, and attempt to blacklist you from bidding on the site. Again, what does Hi-Bid say about this when contacted?… That is their policy.
Sellers can leave whatever feedback about buyers they choose too…and Buyers can't leave ANY feedback about shady Sellers!
This is by far the worse site, disguised as a AAA Better Business Bureau Business that I've ever come across.
Take your money Elsewhere & send them a clear message until BUYERS are treated with respect!

While watching the status of my bids on the email sent to me I could not change my bid from that screen or when I went to the live bidding page.

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
