Do not like them putting political shows on the channel. News is so fake and my escape was hgtv, until now plus the comedian responses are goofy and not funny or informative at all. A waste of entertainment now. So sad.

I tuned into House Hunters and find out it has 3 people making stupid and smart elic remarks. I love house hunters but this show with 3 people making terrible comments is just awful. What a waste.

Great Home Show
June 18, 2020

This show been such a wonderful refreshing change. In a world turned upside dow, Ben and Erin are a ray of sunshine. It's not about $ of a home or repairs. It's inspires the possibilities and unity of a great team to bringing life to a town. One house at a time. Great Job Ben & Erin. Look forward to visiting your town.

OWN

What is this program on a Home improvement channel. If I wanted to watch Own what do we do now, I would watch her channel or watch the news.

HGTV is our escape from the world, news, politics and talk shows. We pay for this channel and Oprah's segment however important has no business being televised on a Home channel. If this persists I will sadly drop this channel. Very disappointed.

Why is hgtv getting on the political band wagon with regards to the Floyd incidence & Oprah Winfrey?
I watch hgtv for that reason... home & garden TV... NOT political crap that belongs on news stations NOT HGTV.

HGTV Hometown
June 8, 2020

I love almost every HGTV show. But Hometown is horrible. There designs destroy the integrity of so many of the old homes they are entrusted with. I wonder what the architect of the home would say after they slap a craftsman porch on the front of a prewar home. So sad.

HGTV if you don't stop constantly running his ads I'm over watching your content. I watch all of your shows haven't heard you come out with anything supporting BLM. Some of your content has done this but not the station. Plans to do so? If so when? Giving you 3 stars will change depending on the answer. Would have been 5 stars a few months ago. Also going to ask on social media if you've posted anything regarding BLM.

I've enjoyed watching HGTV for it's variety of programming and "safe" advertising for the past decade but suddenly, in the past 2 weeks, while trying to relax with home renovation shows, I get jolted back to today's unprecedented realities of health dangers & civil turmoil & lost environmental protections by an in-your-face Advertisement of Mr. Trump. PLEASE, HGTV, leave such repulsive ideology OFF your channel so all viewers can enjoy your programming without fear of your advertising!

Good Bones
June 2, 2020

Please NO MORE Good Bones! It is so repetitive and sooo boring. It is the same premise every time... same remodel. I turn it off every time it is aired. You have so many other great programming but Good Bones is not one of them.

Home Town
May 27, 2020

The worse "Fixer upper" show (and I use that term fixer upper loosely) on tv. They do not fix homes properly at all. How they even pass any inspections is beyond me. Eliminate Home Town please!

My husband and I love HGTV for several years. But where's the (people of color) aka Africa-America, Latino, Asian or others? The majority are white or of European.

It is May 25,2020 and I am sitting here watching my favorite channel and one of my favorite shows-Home Town. Then bam a commercial for MSNBC Rachael Maddox. Are you kidding me. I watch HGTV to stay away from all the political fake news. Please don't mess that up by bringing your views to something most of us watch to get away from all the mess. If I wanted to watch news TV I would and not HGTV. Keep it up and I will stop watching.

Mostly good shows. Enjoy watching reruns of Good Bones, Property Brothers and Fixer Upper. DO NOT like HOME TOWN. Am turned off by the star hosts. Wife seems to be the pusher. Please cancel this one.

Too kuch Home Town
May 26, 2020

I wish you all would quit cramming hometown down our throats. I've never cared for the show / its way too "grandmas frumpy design" and way too hokey. There's so many other shows that have endured the test of time because people love them House hunters, House hunters international, House hunters renovation-all the renovation shows are so much more fun to watch except hometown and also fixer-upper which is also been crammed down our throat's way too much. Thank you.

I watch HGTV quite a bit and I've read through quite a few of the reviews here. I don't understand why people complain so much about Home Town and Christina On The Coast. Both are good programs. Yes, Christina's voice is a bit grading, but so is Tamara Day (Bargain Mansions). My objections are when furniture appears to be included but is not (Fixer Upper). At least on Flip or Flop, they mention that they're paying for staging, so all of the furniture is clearly not included, but they're honest. Bring back Restored and move it from the dying DIY to HGTV.

Home Town
May 24, 2020

I'm so glad for this show.
We got so tired of Chip & Joanna - too corny and contrived.
This young couple are so lovely and doing such good things in their community.
My only complaint is that someone - a producer or director - has recently been trying to coach them to act like Chip & Joanna - all cornball and making fun of each other. That's not natural for them - it's so sad to see. Just let them be who they are - NOT Chip & Joanna! Do something different!

Was watching Bargain Mansions. The "designer" destroys some of the most beautiful details of an older home to make it a "modern" style. Instead of taking the sledge hammer to some woodwork that she doesn't like for her modern appearance, why not take a few minutes extra to reserve those pieces to donate/resell? I've only watched this show three times, but each time I turn it off after 10 minutes because she is ridiculous.

Just once on Good Bones or Flip Or Flop (etc) when they walk into the house and find it to be an unbelievable mess --- just once (or maybe every time) I want them to ask "Who lives like this? Who leaves a home in this condition? Total pigs."
