This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had! I purchased two TVs from Walmart around Black Friday and scheduled installation through HelloTech for January 28. Two days before the appointment, HelloTech cancelled my installation with no real notice. The only communication they sent was an email that went straight to my junk folder. What's unbelievable is that HelloTech has my phone number and had been texting me nonstop about my upcoming installation — yet somehow they decided not to send a text or make a phone call to notify me that it was cancelled. A simple text would have prevented all of this. When I finally spoke with Nina, a supervisor, I had to ask for a refund. Let that sink in — they were not even going to offer to refund the money I already paid for a service they cancelled. I was told my refund check would be "in the mail," but after this experience, I'm not holding my breath. Their reason for cancelling? They claimed they couldn't find a technician in my area. Funny enough, one phone call on my end and I found a tech myself. HelloTech is completely disorganized, lacks basic communication skills, and shows zero accountability to their customers. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid this company entirely.
