The Janice unit is a little more curly than pictured, but it is gorgeous. The quality and craftmanship is outstanding.The wig process started slow, but DHL shipping and tracking is fast.I have purchased many lace units over the years, but hairvivi is by far the best in hair quality, and the unit is very well constructed. I have book marked this site, and here is where I will shop.Because of the delay of processing, they sent some gifts along with the package. Thanks for all the extras...wow! Free stuff... that is very rare these days.

More than a week has passed since placing my order. The website stated 48 hour delivery. As of 7 days later, it has still not shipped. Hairvivi contacted me with excuses, but still no delivery tracking number. Scam!

I waited a year to do my review so I can give people full context. I am a male, who is mixed race black/white, my hair is fine and is the 16inches, so I got the 16in. Unit. I do have thinner hair on top due to radiation exposure and made this purchase while I save for the hair transplant.

Now, I want to say that it is great out of the box, for those who like more volume you can certainly wear it from the box, the perimeter is pre-plucked and to me was very realistic, and the framing of the hairline is very natural, it is a tiny bit reddish tint on the cappuccino last from tinting, so I'm gonna try the lighter one, I wish it was transparent lace. I am fortunate to have a roommate that works in a salon, so they put layers in it and "took some weight out" as he says lol: volume-wise. So it became very natural. I plucked the heck out of the part lol although it looked good from the start, I will say being new I over-plucked the sides so I'm buying a new one.

The unit had no smell and minimum shedding and I use the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo/Conditioner and flat iron spray. It does swell a little in humidity like human hair and it looks like a fresh blow-out, with little tangles from the nape when sweating, but not too crazy. I get hella compliments and they think it's mine. You can wear it glueless for sure, as I did a lot. Im a sweater so here in NYC in the summer I use the Ebin Active and do 3 spray-on layers and it's good all day.

Sorry, my review is so long. The photo in the salon is my hair before braiding and then the unit after cutting/layering and taking some bulk out, the others are me with it on.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I ordered the Vivian wig March 15. They didn't contact be back for over a week, when they guarantee 48 hr shipping… Getting a bad feeling I ask for them to send a photo before shipping, the lace is atrocious… NOTHING like their advertisements. They then "issue a refund" and declare I must contact a third party I've never heard from, with no information to track my refund of almost 1000 dollars. These are horrible people with no morals.

I would have given it a 1 star but it came really quickly. I have had other wigs that were good from them, but this wig is not good at all. This wig has thin ends, won't keep curl with iron and spray or wet set. The hair is 2 different textures from front and back of the wig. When I contacted them about it they did not want to give a refund or credit or anything. I will never buy from them again!

Best wig ever! It's worth the investment! Great quality wig, and worth the investment I suggest HairVivi, it's amazing hair!

This place is a complete scam. I placed and paid for my order on February 8 and to the date April 17 I have not recieved anything nor do they answer my messages. Just answered the first questions I made before purchasing and never again heard from them!

I bought a Hairvivi wig after doing what I thought was a ton of research. Shipping was fast and I was so excited to receive it in the mail. When I opened the box and looked at the wig, it was so awful and I felt so disappointed that it actually made me cry. The hair was shockingly thin, probably only about 120% density. The length was two inches shorter than what I ordered. The colour was completely different than what it looked like on their website and on the influencers they pay on social media. When I double checked that I ordered the right wig, I noticed from their shipping confirmation that the wig originated in China. I suspect that Hairvivi is scamming consumers and selling cheap wigs from places like Ali Express. I'm furious.

I've been using HairVivi since 2018. My first wig from them costed $240 160% density. Today, this same wig is listen on their website for $500 at 180% density! This is a HUGE increase in price for essentially NOTHING, meanwhile quality has significantly decreased. My wigs from 2018/2019 would last me 4-5 months before I felt like I needed a replacement. They now last 2 months at most. As someone that has been supporting this company for years, Im nothing short of disappointed. I mean, even processing and shipping have declined. Ive ordered the wig I have now multiple times, and for some reason, the way this one is constructed the buckle of the band is CUTTING into my scalp. This wig was extremely uncomfortable and actually hurt to wear. Hairvivi's wigs have always been priced higher than average and I had no issue paying $240 for what we were previously receiving, but I have a big issue with paying almost double, AND receiving worse hair. The hair never used to tangle/ matte to this extent in the back. The texture feels different and I know for a FACT that this is NOT the same lace they used to use. This is a thicker more 'durable' lace to withstand the 'fake scalp' because after about 3 installs the fake scalp needs to come off… and you need to cover the lace where the fake scalp was with the scar tape they provide. You get less than 10 strips with your order. Its nice they threw the scar tape in with the order but it is an added gift/ expense that no one asked for. I would much rather go back to the way things were when all you got was your wig in a bag, a cap, & some clips if it meant the time, effort, & money could be spent on the actual construction of the wig. It seems like we are paying an additional $200 for Hairvivi to market themselves as a 'luxury' brand. Their wigs come in these thick beautiful embroidered boxes. Ive quite honestly never received such a beautiful box for an order I purchased online from any site. Which is nice to receive, but again, an unnecessary added expense they'll justify charging as being a part of their luxury brand experience. You get a couple of combs, 2 clips, a foam curling rod, the wig scar tape, thick eyelashes you'll never wear, & a few other random essentially knick knacks in my opinion. Their website and overall branding has completely upgraded, which is amazing and Im glad they're doing well enough as a company to do these things, but they are affording everything by ripping us off & it's not okay. Their sales get to increase because they pay these influencers to lie about how great their wigs are and open these beautiful boxes on camera.They make a small investment on these little things and get to charge us an additional $200. I had taken a break from ordering from Hairvivi because I found it extremely difficult to continue paying this amount for pretty standard/ average quality wigs. I needed a wig for an event and I didn't have time or want to have to bleach the knots, etc. so I decided to give Hairvivi another go. I do believe the hair & lace looks great the first week (despite the knots being over-processed and the brass color not being fixed for again FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS). After that, you're on your own. I could buy an average wig from anywhere and over-bleach the knots myself at home for less than $200 so it goes without saying, that I will no longer be purchasing from them, and I imagine many of their longstanding customers feel the same as well.

First off, the hair on the wig was incredibly THIN so I decided to return it. I had doubt about ordering from their site, especially since their wigs cost over $400! But I decided to take the risk since they promise hassle-free returns at NO COST. Well a few weeks after returning the wig, I get a letter in the mail from FedEx stating that HairVIVI requested the charge be billed to my account! I AM FURIOUS! They say free returns but turn around, and get Fedex to bill you for the shipping costs to CHINA! I will never shop at HAIRVIVI again, they are a scam! I will make sure everyone knows about it too.

I spent $500 on this wig 2 months ago and the hair was very thin and frizzy. I am not sure if it's real hair or not but o for my hair done at home and after 30 minutes outside the hair was all fizzy also plp can see the fake scalp. I emailed them to complain about it and the try to charge me $125 for delivery and to fix the wig they also told me to try to fix it myself so it would be cheaper. It was my second purchase from Haor vivi the first one was okay I paid $750 for it and the second one was a very disappointing. I end up fixing it my self and spent $100 the hair is still very frizzy and thin. And be careful they deleted my 2 bad reviews on the website

On May 31,2022, I purchased the Ciara wig on Hairvivi.com. When I received the wig, I noticed the hair was very thin at the ends and the lace was over bleached. Since the quality of the hair was nice, I decided to exchange the item. BIG Mistake! The return and exchange process is incredibly long and strenuous. First you have to email customer service, which is old school. ( I don't understand why they don't streamline the whole return and exchange process). Also, they are solely based in China, so you have to wait almost 15 days for your package to get clear from a 10 day sanitation period due to the lockdowns. It would take you almost a month to get an exchange or refund. That is not practical. Especially at these prices. On July 11,2022, I received my exchange wig and the hairline was completely unplucked and the wig cap was too small. It was smaller than original wig that was sent to me. I believe that this company is providing higher quality wigs to their sponsored influencers while giving some customers lower quality wigs. I had to return the wig again on July 14,2022 for a refund. I had a trip coming up and now I am stuck styling my own hair. This company may provide decent wigs, but It is a painful process if you have an issue that needs to be corrected. They would have better customer service if they had a warehouse based in the US. Since they don't, customers who have issues with their orders are more likely to have a poor customer service experience. FYI I'm still waiting on my refund and it is 7/26/22. They need to improve their return and exchange operations if they want to retain customers.
