I have recently ordered from gtfoitsvegan, and I was surprised with how good it was! The shipping was quick, and overall, I loved it. Definitely buying from it again.
I don't understand this vegan stuff by my granddaughters are vegan. When they come to visit I like to spoil them with vegan goodies. I like to get fancy cheeses and meats. It's different but it makes them happy. Anything for the girls!
They have all the best foods. My friend turned me on to them. I love the cheese and meat selection and the baked treats too! Try the glazed maple donuts and the frozen croissants!
My wife and I have been very fond of this site and are enjoying its options. We have been shopping here for a few months already and it has been going great. My wife is also loving the recipes from gtfoitsvegan and I would definitely recommend buying from this site.
I am a father of 3 kids, and a couple of months ago I went on a vegan diet. I searched for a good reliable source for vegan food, and I came across this website. It has an amazing variety of foods and it is very delicious my 3 sons have been loving it.
They say happy wife happy life. GTFO makes her happy and keeps the drama down in the house so I oblige. It's can get expensive but not at the cost of my sanity! Thanks GTFO! You're doing gods work.
They sell the best food products. I can't find half the stuff here in Kentucky. I make all the boy jealous with my cool foods. Be cool like me and shop at gtfo. Tell them RJ sent you.
I spent almost an hour picking out products that I've not been able to find locally since we've moved-but my goodness the shipping was over $45! I understand a cold pack fee of 5.99 but wow how inflated on the rest. I'd rather go without than literally pay as much for shipping as the food I was planning to order.
I paid for overnight shipping on a vegan birthday cake for my son. I ended up paying more for the shipping than the cake because it was the holidays, but I got it anyway since it was his birthday. I followed all the necessary directions on their site to receive the cake in time and I got the cake two days late. I tried to contact the company, the did not answer their phone ever. I emailed and they didn't respond until it was quite obvious the my cake would not be here in time. They refuse to refund the money for expedited shipping and continue to insist they did nothing wrong. Do not trust this company it seems I am not the only person to experience this horrible customer service. Save your money and go elsewhere.
It really troubles us when consumers outright lie and defame our name due to a mistake that the consumer made. We have been going back and forth with V. G. now for days. She placed an order on Tuesday, Thanksgiving week with a selected ship date of Wednesday. It clearly stated on our site that due to Thanksgiving, Wednesday orders would not be delivered until Friday. And V. G. received her cake on Friday, exactly as the site promised.
What is even more astonishing is that V. G. admitted this in her e-mail to us which stated..."I ordered this on Tuesday November 23,2021. I needed the cake for the 25th. The 25th being Thanksgiving and your website indicating that deliveries will not be made on Thanksgiving, I made the necessary arrangements and followed your website instructions and ordered TWO days in advance and selected the ONE-DAY delivery to be certain."
It clearly states on our website that we require 24 hours to process an order, and the ship date on V. G.'s order said Wednesday November 24,2021.
We do feel terrible that V. G. ordered her cake too late to receive it on time for her son's birthday, but this had nothing to do with GTFO It's Vegan. Perhaps she feels guilty and needs someone to blame. When we make a mistake, we do everything in our power to make sure the customer's issue is resolved. But in this case, we did exactly as what was requested.
Tips For Readers: Please ignore this completely unfair and untrue rating. Tell V. G. to take responsibility for her mistake and remove this review.
I have two children. Both of them have severe food allergies and as a result we've had to turn to a very clean vegan diet. I'm so happy that GTFO has so many products that are allergen free as it helps my children feel included and have some semblance of normal life. I'm happy that they can get us products so quickly. Sometimes the shipping is pricey but it's worth it to make my family happy healthy. I also love all of the great videos they post with recipes. I love all of the mushroom ones. Thanks gtfo for helping my family and making my job as a busy mom a little easier!
Couldn't be happier! I ordered a lot of frozen items we can't get in our area. My order came next day air and everything was packed nicely in a keep cool pack with several reusable ice bags and dry ice. The dry ice was gone, but the ice packs and food were still frozen. A++
My parents have diabetes and other health problem's. I'm transitioning my family to a vegan lifestyle coupled with changes to diet and exercise. I love my parent want them to live a long time so my kids can remember them. Shopping at gtfo its vegan has make it easy to help my parents overcome the challenges and pick better alternatives. Since going vegan my mothers joints hurt less and she has better mobility. I don't care about the price. I'll doing anything for my family and I'm so thankful that gtfo helps me be a better son.
I love watching their recipe videos. The cheese cake apples they made last time got me to pull the trigger and buy some cream cheese from them. I'm so excited to make the recipe because it looks so simple. Shipping was fast and easy. I just wish it cost less to ship. Other than that, they have a happy returning customer. Thanks GTFO!
I placed an order specifically for a certain cheese. Because the delivery charges are so expensive I ordered several other items as well to make the most of the delivery charge. Upon arrival, that cheese and one other were past the sell by date. I asked that they be replaced and they flat out refused, saying it was too expensive for them to ship those 2 items! They offered a refund of those items - the very least they could do - but the only reason I placed the whole order was for that one cheese which I had to throw out. This was clearly their error, yet they refused to correct it by replacing the product like any company would. If you order from this company, check the dates on your products carefully and don't expect them to replace anything even if the fault is entirely theirs.
Hi Lisa, we are so sorry we were not able to resolve this to your satisfaction. Per our email exchange, only 1 product was expired, which we quickly offered to refund including the proportional amount of shipping. The other product was frozen and the date listed was the pack date, not the expiration date. We attempted to contact you several times via email to confirm this with you, but received no response. You then submitted a claim on PayPal asking for a refund for all the cheeses and shipping... at which point we also contacted you to see how best to resolve this, but you didn't respond to our emails. Once you submit a claim, we are unable to process a refund on our end, so we offered you the refund on PayPal which you rejected. Then PayPal rejected your entire claim and you posted this review. Not that the claim is removed, we have refunded you as promised. Again, had you communicated back with us, we could have resolved this long ago.
I've been vegan for 2 years now due to health reasons. My passion is cooking and I was at first sad to not be able to cook and enjoy all of the dishes I know and love. Then I discovered GTFO it's Vegan and the sun came out from behind the clouds. I can literally cook anything that I'm craving. Bacon and eggs? You got it. Chicken tenders? You got it. By what I missed the most was sushi and shrimp and they have quite a few options! The only thing I wish was better was the shipping. It's kinda steep but to justify it to my self I make sure to plan my meals in advanced and make a larger order so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.
It's the only marketplace online that you can find basically ANYTHING vegan. From vegan burgers to vegan chicken breast to vegan bacon and even vegan eye egg. At other places maybe you can get vegan egg replacement, but vegan eye egg? Not to mention they even got Oreo style cookies that not only vegan but actually gluten free. I see a lot of strange reviews here, but GTFO is a startup and they actually operating because they care about veganism, animals, heart health and our world… even they biggest high tech companies started as small operated businesses from Garages in California, and it seems like that's what GTFO is doing. I'm impressed and appreciate them a lot!
I've ordered from vegan site before this is the worst. Everything was melted and for the shipping price unacceptable. So disappointed and will not be buying again.

Unfortunately as we state on our website and as you signed off at checkout, we do not guarantee perishable packages if 3-day shipping is selected. This really is to be used for packages that are non-perishable.
Is there a reason you chose 3 day? We do suggest you choose 1-day air for perishable packages.
I've been plant based for over 2 yrs and thought I finally found an online grocery store until my 4th order. It arrived late and more importantly, ruined. The dry ice was gone and everything was melted and warm vs frozen and cold. I immediately reached out only to receive the blame. Not an apology or any sign of compassion. Just a this is your fault for selecting 3 day shipping. Only I didn't select 3 day shipping. I spent $120 for groceries and $50 for shipping. The shipping was what the site proposed. I assumed they would propose the proper shipping and since $50 never looked twice. So I'm out $170. More importantly I'm out the groceries I wanted. Had to throw the whole thing away. What did GTFOItsVegan do? Nothing. 3 emails in before they apologized... and I prompted that. What's crazier still is they didn't offer to reship at even a small discount.
I rarely write reviews. Only when I receive exceptionally good or bad service. In this case it's really bad and I will GTFO of GTFOITSVEGAN. I hope I saved someone else from supporting this bad business.
We are so sorry about your experience, but unfortunately you did select 3-day as opposed to 1-day shipping. As explained when you first approached us with this issue that per our site, it states in LARGE RED WRITING in 2 places the following message:

This message is presented when you select your shipping method and again it requires that you physically check a box saying you understand these terms. And you did check this box; otherwise the site will not allow you to check out and pay.
We do welcome any suggestions on how we can improve the message to make it clearer.
You also emailed us "I accepted the default shipping your site proposed, assuming it accounted for the best approach. My bad all the way around. It's unfortunate." We don't have any default shipping, but we do present shipping options, similar to all grocery sites, and leave it to our customers to make the best decision for themselves.
GTFO It's Vegan is an up and coming company trying to make a difference on this planet and it is unfortunate review sites exist like this where customers can publish one-sided reviews, not present the full picture, and appear as the victim. Couldn't find any other online marketplace that supplies so many different vegan products. It actually got few types for every type of food you crave for. Few different vegan kinds of bacon, few different vegan "fish", a variety of vegan meat, sashimi, and their packing are really nice and unique. I suspect a few of the other reviews here coming from their competitors, as I really enjoy the GTFO experience.
This site is so convenient for my father and I. He recently switched to a vegan diet and usually has so much trouble finding the right products. Every time he goes to the store, he gets frustrated having to read numerous labels to make sure what he is getting is vegan. It's been really nice to now have a site in our tool belt to refer to, to get the best brands out there and most innovative new vegan items. The shipping is also great! Our orders have shipped out pretty quickly and the boxes come with ice packs to keep refrigerated food cold. Highly recommend!
Please know our shipping fees are NOT inflated. We currently only have one fulfillment center on the West Coast. Given nearly everything we sell is perishable, for anything East of Colorado, we ship these next day air via UPS.
And with Covid, UPS has actually raised all of their rates, so while shipping starts at $36 for next day air (and will increase based on the number of items ordered and the weight of the package) we subsidize this by another $10-25 to make it more affordable to our customers. If you don't believe us, just go on to UPS and price out a next day air package from California.
We have multiple coupons on the site for first time shoppers to reduce the cost of shipping.
