GrubHub consistently has deals of "free delivery" or get X off a delivery. However, they don't actually follow through. You input the code they email you, and they say you cannot redeem it. Or, their site will say "free delivery with an X purchase." When you read the find print, there are not restrictions. But, wen you go to check out, they are charging you for delivery and a service fee. So an order originally costing $12-$15, now costs $30! Not worth it.
So we ordered from Lefty's and I ordered a cheeseburger with cheese fries on the side which is 85 cents more than regular fries. Food gets here and the driver was very nice and and on time. I open my box and I received curly fries instead of cheese fries which is not a big deal but I thought I'd just message them and ask for the 85 cents back and that was it. They decided out of nowhere to refund my portion of the order! Thanks for saving us money!
Ordered my food it was picked up by grub hub at 6:00 with a 6:05 delivery time. I watched the driver location on the app. He drove in my direction the turned away from my location stopping at another restaurant district then drove to another residential location stopped again then drove the opposite way from my location again then 47 minutes latter i got my cold food that was not as ordered the restaurant I ordered from is 11 minutes from my house. So I contacted $#*! hub about the problem and they never responded in any way. Never use or depend of this $#*! service.
I placed a $40 order for myself and my children. I received a message stating the driver delivered my order, then I received a message saying the driver was having trouble finding my house and that I have 8 mins to contact them, mind you I wasn't given any contact information. I was contacted by grubhub and was informed the driver was outside. But there was no driver outside my home. This person stole my order and never delivered it. I'm stick at home with no vehicle which is why I ordered online. I will never use this service again. I have never had problems with dominoes, pizza hut or door dash. I would've ordered thru door dash if the place I was ordering from went thru door dash. But I guess I won't be ordering there anymore either as long as they're affiliated with grub hub.
Ordered my food and they canceled it cause it took over an hour for someone to pickup and the restaurant ended up closing. Definitely never using Grubhub again
I ordered dinner at 7:56pm. The last message I received from the driver was that the food would arrive between 8:35-8:45pm. I waited for the food, instead of going to the supermarket. At 9:45pm, I contacted Grubhub to find out what happened. The driver listed on the website that the food was delivered, but he/she NEVER ARRIVED. The company agreed to return my money, BUT FOOD DOESN'T JUST DISAPPEAR!. The worst part about is that the supermarkets and most restaurants were closed BY 9:00pm due to Covid19. I guess Grubhub wanted me to go to bed hungry! Signed not impressed!
They took my money. My food never came. It was a big expensive order. I called the restaurant. They never recieved the order. I called Grubhub several times. The just kept putting me on hold. I never got to talk to a person. Never got my food or my money back.
I think it is a joke that Grubhub is advertising save your favorite restaurant, that is scary having someone I don't know if they are wearing proper personal protective equipment or not making food for me. The virus can last for 2 to 3 days on hard surfaces and 24 hours or more on cardboard so why order food from a restaurant that may have infected people making your food. Make your own food at home be safe.
This is the 3rd. Time and LAST that I order receive notification order's been delayed and after waiting 20 to 40 mins receive an order's been cancelled note. Unreliable & customer service is non-existent!
The only delivery company requiring you to pay a delivery fee during this fiasco. Also, you have a mandatory tip. I placed my order 53 minutes before the restaurant closed. The driver did not head to the establishment until 20 minutes before it closed. As soon as Deanna got there my order was cancelled because the establishment had closed. No one attempted to call me and let me know. The customer service representative only offered an apology. This was my first time using grubhub. Worse decision ever. Mind you, I am stuck at work and everything is closed now.
My driver was an hour later than the expected time, and when I contacted grub hub they said basically sorry it happened and here's 10% off your next order of over $50. The driver kept saying his gps was bringing him to the wrong spot. I felt that customer service could have been more understanding, and they could have given a better offer.

Yesterday I put an order and i have waited for 45 minutes. I didn't received my order and later I checked their application. It's shows delivered and checked with customer service. They tried to contact the driver but no use. Waiting for the cashback.
Twice in 6 days I order from grubhub. I work in healthcare and with the recent pandemic I am having to pick up extra hours to protect those coworkers who are unable to work the front line. The first night I ordered from grubhub, it took two hours which I understand with the government placing a stay at home order it makes sense but the gps on the app told me my driver sat at the post office for 45 minutes. Once I did get my food, 2 hours after ordering, my driver was smoking a cigarette on a non smoking health facility campus. This puts our patients and myself at risk. Tonight, my second order, I ordered agin. The gps on the app told me that my driver was on his way. I saw him drive through our parking lot. I was outside waiting for him. He contributed to drive through and away. He updated the app to say delivered even though I never got my food. I called the support line who was able to call the driver (even though he ignored all of my calls). He told her that he didn't feel comfortable going to a healthcare facility. Even though he didn't have to since I was waiting outside. They have me a refund but I wanted to know what happens to my food. They told me he refused to return to bring me my food. This is ridiculous, I'm working a 14 hour shift and just wanted some food. He would have zero contact with anyone who was ill, I get checked everyday for illness, I'm healthy. He had my number and location, he could've called me, or not accepted the order in the first place. I will not be using grubhub again. Two terrible encounters in a row, they don't check their drivers and have zero accountability.
GrubHub is terrible, they say they will hire you then you try to log in and can't. The app is a joke and their call center is worse. They hire inexperienced people without training.
If I could leave zero stars I would! Not only did I have to wait 2 hours for my order, I had to go pick it up myself! Nobody went and picked up my order so it sat ruining the food for an hour and a half! This company is a joke and all they did was give me a 20% off coupon! I had to purchase my food a second time when I went and picked up my order! They never once updated my order the entire time I waited. I called the restaurant and asked what the issue was, well my driver never showed up!
Order food was given a driver and told food was being prepared. After predicted delivery time was pushed back twice contacted restaurant they never received order. Contacted grubhub refused to give me a reason why and said it would be ready in 20 and driver was on the way. 25 minutes later called the restaurant again said they had orders from GrubHub but not ours. The GrubHub rep disconnected with me before it was resolved. Contacted them again and they gave a different excuse that they have no dispatch delivery person even they gave me a guy's name, info, and location over an hour ago. Couldn't confirm anything said order was sent again but restaurant said they never got it. GrubHub continued to lie and say no driver even tho they gave me someone personal pico and location and name for a driver. Refused to give more info and when I asked for higher up or someone that could explain why I was getting different answers and waiting two hours for a drive thru restaurant they said they had no higher up to contact. By the way I said to speak to 3 reps because they kept disconnecting why they believed I didn't have a problem. I waited until midnight for dinner and had to order elsewhere. Since was never given and answer or a higher up. Worst service I've ever experienced.
Deliveries are routinely an hour or so late with deliveries here, regardless of restaurant. Contacted support today in the middle of a 40min late delivery (driver was in the next town over) and they asked me to wait another 20 to see if they showed up. Took another 15min explaining to the support rep that 10% off my next order wasn't a very great reward for cold soggy food. Why give an estimate if they aren't even close? I'll take Door Dash over these guys any day, either the GH algorithm is stacking too many orders on the drivers or they don't reward drivers for timely deliveries/ punish them for late deliveries.
I placed my order 2.5 hours before hand and I have been delayed for 45 minutes now. Totally uncalled for considering it's from Taco Bueno. Never again
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
