Weeks ago, I purchased a FitBit on sale on Groupon. I've always wanted one and since it was on sale I decided to. The company website says that products are shipped and delivered within a 5-10 business day span. So after 15 business days of waiting for my product, I decided to contact them. After talking to THREE separate UNBELIEVABLY RUDE customer service reps, they finally told me that they did not physically have the FitBit that I bought! They were selling these FitBits without even having the product to sell! Instead of emailing me to tell me this, they let me wait and wait. After I found out that they didnt have the $200 FitBit I wanted, they said the best they can do if offer me a refund. I told them if they ever wanted my future buisness that I want a instore credit for the ridiculous service. No instore credit or anything. They couldn't do anything for me. So this week I will be going to my local mall to buy a FitBit. Never again will I use this service. Honestly, anyone who is thinking about using Groupon, just dont do it. Its not worth the hassle. Worst customer service I've ever had.

I bought IPL treatment to Alla salon, tried to phone and SMS many times, their respond was that machine broken and takes few weeks to fix. After month negotiation i came to the conclusion that this is scam. I contacted groupon to refund my $ 70.00 back. They refused on offered trade in to groupon account when i tried to trade for new deal its appear the $70 was not deposited to the account. The customer service has no phone contact only through e-mails which they don't respond anyways... I will not buy any more from groupon

Scam scam scam

I've had several issues with Groupon. One of them was when a business who I purchased a Groupon for went out of business... talk about a headache *trying* to get that resolved. The second biggest headache was when a business owner refused to honor a Groupon I purchased because "she would lose money and that Groupon scammed her." Both times the customer service from Groupon was TERRIBLE. Seriously, don't buy if you don't want the headache...

So I bought a Groupon (and I have bought some before and never had a problem, but after this mess - NEVER again) They sold me one that the merchant clearly is not responding to multiple calls, messages left and emails... (and they are still selling for that company BTW!) After never getting anywhere with the company (for over TWO months) I contacted Groupon... long story short, I had to call my credit card company, because Groupon doesn't care about happy customers (then I tried for THREE WEEKS and they just ran me around in circles!). Save yourself a major headache and don't buy from them!

Before purchasing check them out. Groupon doesn't have a phone contact. Probable due to fact when you have a problem they don't want to fix it. Business shut their doors and Groupon said they would investigate and get back with 72 hrs. Never happens. Then you CHAT again and again. They promise G bucks (credit) but that took 3 times of chatting and about 3 plus hours before 1 person finally helped. DONT DO IT. They completely ignore their own guarantee!

I have tried to get help from customer service and have been unable to resolve my complaint. I will not purchase any more Groupon deals because they no longer sttand behind their guarantee that you will not lose the original purchase price. The last product I bought was not as advertised and not worth the time and expense to return it. I am through with Groupon.

This company alows unreputable companies to advertise a Groupon on their site. Then, when everything falls through, no one has to make it good, and you are out your money. AGAIN, RUN, don't walk, away from this site!

Oh cool. My Groupon account has been hacked and someone made a nice purchase from the Beauty Services category... at my expense. I just saw it on my credit card statement. 1 hour trying to reach Groupon by phone; they have disabled all their phone numbers recently despite the surge in account hackings. I was forced to use the Chat option and got a girl who didn't know what the hell she was talking about, who needed 5 minutes to respond to every question, and who said they "need to investigate". She was asking me to be patient. She basically meant "be patient while someone else uses your entire credit card funds". I can't believe what a terrible company this is. I just went to do some research and apparently it happens to a large number of groupon members. Needless to say, i deleted my credit card info from my account and filed a dispute with my credit card.
However, i will never deal with this company again. They must have some big fat competitor out there who learned from their mistakes to do better business. Groupon know all the hackings going on, and they still didn't enable phone customer service, and they did not secure their system. Furthermore, they offer no other option but to save your payment information which i never like to do. Why should we put money in their pocket? At least i noticed but i am shocked by their carelessness. DON'T use this company.

Is there a zero or less star? 3 days of Chat communications. And still nothing is being done! Charged credit card twice for ONE item! Recv'd only 1 order confirmation from Groupon. They send you customer service phone numbers that don't even exist. This company is a scam. The same thing happened to me a few years ago. And I thought they would come clean! One ignorant rep even said they can't offer refunds after 3 days! Well, who would know until a statement arrives they made these extra charges! Any company that has 4-6 different customer service numbers and NONE are "no longer in service" is a big RED FLAG! Every chat rep stated my case 'has been escalated to a specialization team" and i would receive a call back. That was 2 days ago. And still nothing!

Always wrong

Anytime I order "goods" from Groupon, the order is either incorrect, missing something, or says it was delivered and never was. Their customer service is minimal at best and they do not provide any reference numbers for discussions. Too many third party vendors and Gropuon doesn't take accountability.

Group On is a scam. They do not look for the customer service once they sell the vendor promotion to customer. After selling they pretend that they do not know u and say simply "talk to the vendor directly". The group on cheats with the customer by showing offers and anything happens wrong... they turn their face away from you. I would advise never buy any promotion offer from them. If you are buying and get the same experience as mine after a while then please blog and save others to buy their offers.

After buying a bed frame from Groupon Goods Global GmbH, that was supposed to be delivered within 7 days, contact Groupon (15 days later) to understand why my item was not delivered. Two days later they reply saying that the item was being held at delivery company and I had to call and solve the issue with them! Two hours on the phone, ££s spent and DX delivery would not even pick up the phone. More time and £ spend calling Groupon, all they could say was the issue was escalated and they would inform me of any changes by email!
I am still sleeping on the floor, waiting on that bedframe...
Want a advice? Buy from a direct company, pay £10 next day delivery and save yourself a lot of headache.

Purchased a balloon ride. If you buy the groupon you have to be at the location at 5:45 am. No view from the balloon as it's still dark out. No refund from groupon as they want their money. What a ripoff.

I guess Groupon went out of business! I made a purchase last night but couldn't login this morning and all of their phone numbers listed on the internet are no longer working. I had to dispute the charge with my bank and I am not the first call they've received this morning to do that. If you have an order pending with Groupon I would suggest you look into it ASAP

Make of it what you will, but here is the story. My wife booked a hotel under her name. After doing so and paying, she got the hotel info that said because it was a casino hotel, it had to be under someone's name who is over 21. So she called Groupon to have them change the reservation to my name. They said they would, then we later got an email saying that they were changing it. This was shortly after initially booking it, and within their "refund" time. Our stay was a couple months after. When we arrived, the hotel still had the reservation under her name, and being 19 we couldn't check in. This was on a Sunday and Groupon customer service was closed. So we had to check in under a new reservation. The next morning we Groupon customer service. They said they would make the change and fax over the change to the hotel within a half hour. Never happened. We called back and the agent told us "yes we did say that we would do that" and then said they would work on it. Still never happened. Multiple calls later they still had done nothing. We ended up paying for the Groupon deal, and for the hotel ourselves. We called Groupon demanding a refund. They said that because we called to have the name changed within the refund time that they would refund us and we would get an email in a couple days with the details. Nothing happened. We called again and they told us that the hotel needed to refund us for our stay, which they couldn't do for obvious reasons (the Groupon reservation was still there and unused). In the end, we were lied to, cheated, and robbed. Never got money back, paid twice for our hotel stay.

I love scrolling through Groupon and seeing the great deals they offer! But as a first time customer, I was disappointed. I had purchased tickets for a certain event and two days later my tickets were still "pending." I live chatted with their customer service and found out that their inventory department had canceled my order because the show had sold out. It doesn't bother me that the show sold out, but they neglected to inform me in any way that my order was canceled. Luckily, I found out soon enough to be able to purchase tickets somewhere else. Groupon, please be professional and keep your customers informed!

Just did a live chat with Berginisa N and she was of ZERO help and she hung up on me! I can't believe how misleading Groupon is and they totally will not help you if you request a refund. DO NOT PURCHASE GROUPON and expect any customer service for refunds, they will totally shoot you down like Berginisa just did to me! Will not EVER deal with Groupon anymore and will advise "BUYER BE VERY AWARE!"
