Purchased a pair of boots. Took 1 month to receive. Did not like at all. Returned immediately and then took another month to receive a credit. Now I am forced after 2 months to purchase another item with my credit. Which will take another month to receive. I will NEVER order another thing from this site. There are many other designer discount sites that process you order in a timely fashion as well as your returns. And many offer a credit to your card. Do not order from this site!
I have used this site to add a little excitement to life, so far it has saved me money skydiving, buying gifts for family and friends and has helped make amazing savings possible.
I was a loyal Ideel customer. "Was" being the operative word in that sentence. Now, my hard earned dollars are going to your competitors like Rue lala and Haute Look.
Fix the app. - your brand awareness is tanking and brand loyalty? Well, after looking at all the reviews on here, it's pretty safe to say you are destroying your business. Far be it from me to tell you Ideel folks how to run your business, but you must be missing the money I spent shopping with you- not to mention all the other disgruntled people here AND the future customers who stumble upon these reviews.
Good luck.
Got an amazing deal from them for a top tier SPA in Bath, UK!
Not sure if SPA was particularly glad getting only 25% of the normal revenue from me, but I was!
I've had EXTREMELY good luck with groupon.com... but I READ ALL THE FINE PRINT. Never been disappointed yet.
I'm ready to throw in the towel on this one...
My first purchase was a dress, it was a fair price, shipping time was okay, and I loved the piece! I was very happy and raved about the company.
My second purchase was a set of lenox towels: the towels arrived but the wash clothes and hand towels did not. The company told me I could return the item for their review -- huh? Let me go out of my way to return an incomplete order for what? Them to tell me I secretly kept the matching wash clothes and hand towels? I counted my losses on this one and didn't fight it.
Then just the other week I decided to buy some lingerie since V day is coming up. I got an email saying they didn't get in one of the items and apologized and gave me a $15 credit. Ok, thats fine. Then the other piece came in and it was missing a garder strap. Seriously?! So now I have a non-returnable item that won't even hold up my stockings. Not to mention that I'm also without the very item I wanted to have on Valentines day -- had I received the other item, this wouldn't have been as much of an issue.
Are the deals good? Yes.
Are they worth it? Probably not.
I ordered a restaurant discount from Groupon last year. Wasn't credited the discount but was charged. Had to dispute it with my credit card company.
Now, I gave them a 2nd chance, this time to send Valentine's flowers via FTD. Groupon has charged me and this time credited my account the discount, but FTD's website isn't honoring it.
What a clusterf*&k! They won't get a 3rd chance from me. Their deals LOOK great! But don't always expect it to work out. I, for one, am 0-for-2 with this company. :(
I have serious doubts that their products are original, the boots I received today
Worth soooooo far less that what I payed for them. They have not quality at all, It is
Clear they are not original, so bad I can not return them. Waste of money, do not buy from them

I saw all of the bad reviews AFTER I had placed my order so I was holding my breath. Then I received my top from MM Couture and it was perfect - exactly as described and the right size. The prices are incredible and the presentation of items on the site is very appealing and easy to use. Perusing the pages is kinda fun. It's true, though, that it takes a couple of months but it tells you before you place the order when you can expect the shipment, so I wasn't surprised about that. Also, since everything was as I had ordered, I didn't have to deal with customer service. SO, so far, in summary, I still consider it a good site for shopping. I'll be back though if I place another order and have another good experience or have a bad one.

Business Owners BEWARE!
I'm a business owner who was totally ignored while running my deal. I ran a deal with Groupon about six months ago for my hair salon and it was on OK experience. Groupon representative actually contacted me first about being featured on their site.We offered a discount for first-time clients and actually got about 1000 new people to try us out.My representative was easily reachable to answer any questions. Since I was pleased with that experience I wanted to give it another try for my other business: a tanning salon. We had brought a Red Light Therapy to the tanning salon, anti-aging light therapy that stimulates collagen production. We were very excited about this new service and thought that Groupon.com with it's all of it's subscribers will be a great idea to advertise this new technology.
I contacted the same representative I dealt with before, but let me tell you it was a totally different experience. I tried contacting her by phone but she never returned any of my phone calls. The only e-mail she replied to was an e-mail with my signed contract and it said "Great"
My deal was supposed to run on Sunday so Friday night I get the preview of my deal page and it says it's going to be a side deal! I didn't want to be a side deal because I know that side deal don't get the same exposure as the smart deals and it wasn't part of the agreement. So I write her an e-mail back just to confirm. Someone else(I think her assistant)e-mails me back Saturday afternoon that indeed it's going to be side deal. I expressed how disappointing that was and wished to wait with this offer until it can be a featured deal... of course I haven't heard from anyone since.
Needless to say we were featured as a side deal and sold 11 groupons.Of course my representative wasn't reachable this time. Unlike many businesses that feature offers on Groupon.com and loose money I actually was going to make some money and advertise a wonderful, new service to the public.
I will never use Groupon again and I don't recommend it for any business owners!
I have only purchased one Groupon, the one that got me sign up. It was only $1 and was for Three one-night rentals at Redbox. It took 3 days to get the coupon by email. It was easy to view and print out and I used two rental codes one evening. However, I just went to use the third rental code and found out it was invalid. Evidently all Groupons are "Must use in one visit." To be fair, this disclaimer is listed on a separate page on Groupon's website, but it was not listed on the original deal. I'm basically ticked off at the principal of the whole thing. I'm not out any money, I actually got two rentals for the price of one, but I didn't get the deal I thought I was purchasing.
Now Groupon could argue that I'm at fault for not reading the fine print, which is technically true, but I think a good company will make the terms very clear, especially to a new member. I'm usually very careful about checking out all the fine print, (I actually read over 75% of the fine print on user agreements and terms of use contracts for sites I don't have a previous experience with.)
I did send an email to customer support at Groupon about my experience, so if I get a response I may try to edit this review. Their site claims that if a customer is not satisfied they will, " return your purchase – simple as that." Not sure what that means, it doesn't explicitly say "refund" so I'm not holding my breath waiting for satisfaction.
I have placed numerous orders with ideeli and have never encountered a problem. I have returned two items and was credited with the amount of the actual product. I love ideeli.com!

I read a lot of complains about ideeli business, and I'm one of them:(
It's actually shame business and waste of time, (I'm happy, I didn't give them card no.)
You can see below, my posts, in order to find someone to be nice with me, customer, and final answer was; I'm not gonna comment, it's funny:
"Thank you for being in touch and letting us know your thoughts. As we continue to evolve the ideeli shopping experience to be the best that it can be, your feedback is crucial. We will be taking the most constructive criticism into consideration as we make further improvements. Thanks for being a part of ideeli." :): )
Do not trust to this company, especially if they offer some "promo" and I can tell them now: "I don't like your promo coupon, I don't like to be in business with you..."
Hi Marjan,

Groupon is a waste. Whatever I save thru groupon, they charge me half for the savings. Example: $100 item 80% off means I save $80 rite. No, I paid Groupon $40 to save $80. $40 to groupon + $20 for Item = $60 I saved 40% I can go just about anywhere online and get FREE 50% off coupons. Better yet I can goto any local school and buy and entertainment coupon book that is filled with $1,000's of savings in my area for $20. I know I bought one and most of the coupons are 50% off equivlents. People that think groupon is great just don't have a mathematical clue.
Bought a manicure for my wife, was easy enough. However, the salon sold so many that they were booked a month out, which was a bit annoying. The deals on groupon are usually worthwhile though, so I will continue to use it, and recommend it.
I have found and benefited from some great deals via Groupon.
This company is so shady. First of all, I think some of the merchandise they aseel are counterfeit and "designer" labels were sewn on by Ideeli. Second, do NOT buy into the Free shipping gimmick. TWICE I was promised free shipping and BOTH times I was charged the 9.95 shipping fee. Their customer service is a joke. They do not nothing to help you. You just keep e-mailing back forth with someone who seems to have the intelligence and reasoning capabilities of a cockroach. Never again. I am cancelling my membership.
Groupon IS a scam.
At least as far as their affiliation with Zynga and hosted links goes. Yes, the deals are legitimate inasmuch as you receive a redeemable coupon. Where the fraud takes place is in the come-on, the pitch, the incentive to do the deal in the first place.
I'm referring specifically to offers of Farmville cash credits for participation which NEVER materialize. Their customer service is horrid, non-responsive and completely fraudulent. I will not do business with them again, nor with any company utilizing their "services".
I operate a horseback trail ride company on a small resort and spa in Bodega, Ca. The Resort and I teamed up to run a Groupon add because my horses eat rain or shine and winter is slow money flow in the winter. Anyway I have had a HORRIBLE experience with this company! When the Groupon was posted online whoever designed the coupon put in that our customers could upgrade to " outlaw mode" and get a wild west shoot out and a bubble bath. This is something we do not offer ever! That makes if false advertisement, and last time I checked that is illegal! When we contacted Groupon about this problem they simply told us it was a joke, NOT FUNNY! Being a separate business I decided to try to run a separate Groupon ad for my business, well that did not work out. They sent me a rejection letter saying they were to busy and to try again later. No thank you, after hearing more and more people that are having these problems and more I will NEVER use or recommend Groupon to anyone!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
