I have been trying to activate my new Green Dot by phone and on line, they tell me by 5 digit Zip code which is ******* is invalid I have been trying to do this Starting at 9:30 this morning 9/12/2019 it is now 4:14PM with no help from their customer service people they want me to wait 2to 5 business days to activate my card. I would not have this trouble if they had cards that did not fall apart, when I got my new card for this new season 7/2019, then last Sunday the new card fell apart, when I activated the other card(from)last month I had no problem activating it. When on line I keep getting an error message sorry internal error has happened. I am supposed to be a VIP member but feel like a big nobody. They keep on trying to get me to get an APP. But I nave no place on my cell phone to put it.
We've never had a moment's problem with Green Dot. It helps us stay organized. Wish we had Green Dot Cards when we were younger!
My only issue is with the cash back option having limits but my spending and depositing is not limited. It makes no sense to make someone wait an entire year for a 100 max cash back incentive. Will probably be changing to another prepaid for my online purchasing.
I live green dot it's simple and easy. No overdraft fees, you can use checks. I love the asap direct deposit. The app is easy to use and shows in exact time what you spent and how much is in your account.
It's quick and straightforward card even though the membership fee sucks. 9.99 every month adds up to $120 yr in fees. But you can't beat the early direct deposit

I like the greendot card slot I use it for my every day bills and shopping and have never had a problem with the use of itand I like the fact that I can send money to other people that use the card without any extra charge to me and it's instantly transfer to the other party...
The charges for using atm's everywhere are through the roof... also the monthly membership fees are steep, other than that i enjoy getting paid two days early and the card makes things convenient
I was going to use GreenDot temporarily until my direct deposit got setup with my new job, but I ended up keeping it and am still using it. I don't use it so much for actual shopping, but I have a certain amount deposited to the card and have nothing but bills coming out of it. Since my bills total per month go over the $1000 mark, there is no fee deducted from my account. Overall, I have had no complaints with Green Dot, they what they say they are supposed to do and do it fairly well. My dad has had some issues with getting information like address switched with them, but I have not run into any such issues.
I like how I get paid two days early but the monthly membership fees should be a lot less. The monthly fees plus the reload fee is ridiculous.
Been with this card for a few now and I'm loving it every step of the way. The way to put money pay bills online n buy stuff online is great and easy. U received alerts every step of the way so u know when to stop shopping like me lol
Great prepaid service... also if you vault(save) your money you get 3% interest. Thats fantastic compared to regular banks. Very happy.

I've had green dot for years. Love the stash option and a card for my spouse and I. Love the convenience. Wish there were more ATM options but it's still great.

Its a good account i recently got my 100 cash back rewards with no issue. Im supposed to get paid on Tuesday with my job but greendot releases my funds on friday that's 3 days early and i love it
