I am a beginning author / writer of romance novels. Since I started using Grammarly, I can edit as I type. At least for the initial go around. Works better than Word checker
I found it clumsy to use. Sometimes it would highlight the wrong place to put the correction. And I had to undo it and do it manually, so I had to carefully watch what it was doing. Sometimes it was hard to follow where the correction was or to preview the next correction. Sometimes it would highlight and sometimes not highlight the next correction. It doesn't like "Then". I had to change it to 'and' when it was not the best word to use.

There are several occasions when a sentence or phrase I have written looks correct to me. Grammarly suggestions have helped with adjustments which make my writing flow better.
Writing and cross checking is made easier. Mistakes are easily spotted and corrected quickly.
Grammarly helps me a lot, especially in business emails and texts, as English is my second language. I especially like the "tone" detection as that I feel is a very important part of any communication and can be perceived wrong on email and text.
