Tried to complete form alone... did not read instructions thoroughly... did not consult attorney handling parents estate... should have consulted someone before rushing to complete form... their were obvious errors on form submitted... contacted by personnel that assisted in helping correct errors and completing form correctly... mahalo
It was really easy to follow for people who don't have great computer skills.
It seemed pretty straight-forward. The only issue is that I mis-typed a number which resulted in the application being rejected with an error message to fix it. I could not see how to make the correction on-line so I had to call the 888 number. However, the phone call was quick and easy. Even the wait was short. The problem was corrected and the submission was successful.
I liked the quick service. My call taker was hispanic and her English was perfect but her accent was hard for me to follow.

The process was easy. I am not sure I understand why I needed to pay for a tax identification number to complete the probate of my father's estate especially since he died without a will, there's no contest and he didn't own a business at the time of his death. I believe this is an exorbitant amount to have to pay to open an estate account.
