Please stop showing people on commercials that they just show the coupon and the price automatically changes. Let them know that we have to rebill the prescription and it will take a few minutes. Smh
For me, GoodRx is poor. I am not saying it is bad for many. I was shocked to find that the first Shingrix vaccine would cost me $200 retail. So, I looked at GoodRx and it said, $160. That is like a hamburger joint saying the $5 sandwich would cost $30, and with a discount, $25. No thanks, either way. Ugh.

I have used good rx with success but recently you had a price listed at kroger pharmacy and they would not honor your price. I traveled 45 minutes one way to get that price and was turned down. That was a costly disappointment

I went to Walmart for shingles vaccine and presented the good Rx card. And it didn't work. 2 months later for 2nd round of vaccine and it didn't work again. Didn't save me a penny. Teller said it's a joke. Never used it again, because it's embarrassing.

Lately, we have found that the pharmacies in our area - Costco, Walmart, Safeway, and CVS do not honor the GoodRx prices. Therefore the discount program is pretty much a waste of our time. Here's our experience. 1) Get the best price from GoodRx.com 2) Doctor sends a Rx to that pharmacy. 3) Get to the pharmacy and they don't honor the price. 4) Call the doctor and take the next highest price that GoodRx has listed. 5) Go to pharmacy and they don't honor the price. You can see how this can be a total goose chase after doing many of these. I'm very unimpressed with the program. It seems like it used to work a year or so ago, but not now. My mother in law pays out of pocket, is not on Medicare Part D. For example we attempted to get medication today from Costco listed on GoodRx as $71.00. Price we had to pay - $94.50. This is a regularly taking place now. Too bad.

I have used GoodRx for the last year with good success. I am permanently disabled, and take Hydrocodone 10-325 every six hours for chronic back pain. For the longest time, I have filled all my scripts at CVS. I noticed my Norco was much cheaper through GoodRx at Kroger, and had my next refill called in there. My cost was about $16.
Now, I go to check for this month, as I am due for a refill, snd that same 120 tablets shows a price of $34.36. It's doubled in a month. And now I see there's a "Good RX gold". It sure looks like a good thing is coming to an end. GoodRX wants their cut, I guess. Disappointing.

Took Safeway a prescription normally don't like Safeway but with the GoodRx app it showed my prescription to be only $46. I chose to go to Safeway this time all because of GoodRx. Gave the coupon to the pharmacist and they took the coupon put it in the computer at $46.87. They did not have my medication in and so two days later after I fought to get the $47 up went to pay for my prescription and then all the sudden it had changed to $73 and some change. I feel like they entrapped me. The best deal to go to Safeway only to change it once my prescription had been put into the system. I find that a lot of people try to get whatever money they can right at the very end of bankruptcy or some political change. Please do not use GoodRx because they will in trap and change the prices! I would rather use a pharmacy and pay full price than ever used GoodRx again!

Please. I am honestly begging you. I will do whatever you want. If you just ask me to look it up BEFORE I fill the script. Don't wait for the price from your insurance. If you think it will be high and you have the card or phone or whatever ready: call ahead. Ask them to compare the prices for you. It will save us both a LOT of time. It does not take 20 seconds, as that commercial may suggest, to change the price for you. My soul dies a little each time I scan out a script and then they pull out their little card. (Also highly do not recommend using the cards. Print it out. At my pharmacy we use our phones for you, but i know a lot of places wont do that, so if u want the EXACT price you found - print it. They change the cards)
It may not work for certain pharmacies but it's definitely worth a try. I saved $20 on one prescription because insurance didn't cover it. Definitely a great app. Just don't think it's gonna work for every single medication you get filled
I use a controlled medication for back pain which is quite expensive. I thought I would check with a new place here in Bradenton, Fl to see what it would cost. I went into the place called Goodrx Pharmacy and asked but he said he couldn't check the price without the actual prescription but he was sure he could save me money. So, I had my next prescription sent to them by my Dr. The pharmacist now told me he would only match the price of other pharmacies and not give a better price BUT additionally only if I transferred all my other prescriptions to him even those I have filled by mail order for a 3 month supply and wouldn't fill the prescription if I didn't do that. I found that to be a ridiculous demand and he wouldn't even fill the one I had sent to him. Now I need to get my Dr. to send the prescription to another pharmacy to have it filled. Watch yourself if you decide to try this place as I don't find them at all reputable.

The commercial that claims up to 80 percent savings is misleading. The commercial referencing a $67 transaction reduced to $8.70 is obviously more the an 80 percent savings. Based on all the customer complaints I have read I would have to say that this another attempt to mislead customers. Or else the company can not figure basic math.

Nothing but success with Good Rx. It has worked 3x and saves up to 2/3 of my previous insurance covered meds. There have been no challenges and has been accepted every time. With no issues.

with goodrx. With Humana gold Prescription was $461.00. What goodrx explained On the price difference is that CVS and goodrx Have a deal that CVS may determine the price of the prescription.Be very cautious with goodrx.

Who actually pays for this? How do y'all get your prices? What do you do with the information sent to your database? Is it sold? Are you selling patient's private information? Exactly how do you get money from this "Help a neighbor out?" By selling HIPPA information that pharmacies transmit to your computer. Nothing is free! You get something from this! Commercials aren't free.
