Good Dog was the best platform available to find great breeders for puppies. We were able to get connected to a great breeder (Blue Sky Chesapeake Bay Retrievers) in an efficient manner to find the puppy of our dreams.
It was a rough experience in the beginning with a breeder but used a different breeder and was able to get the perfect puppy. I can't take him home till January but was very pleased with the process. It was my first time looking for a pure breed. Thank you very much
My husband and I decided to go with Triple J Aussies, and are very thankful we did. From the moment we filled out the application and was notified by Good Dog that it had been accepted, things went pretty quick. Deanna email me with pictures of beautiful puppies to pick from. I chose one, then called her, and she answered all my questions, and even help to pick the right creat out. We put a deposite down through God Dog on Tuesday and pick our puppy up on Sunday. Deanna was so nice and had everything we needed for our new puppy and then some,
I had a great experience getting my dog via Good Dog. My pup is a healthy and happy doggie. Although he had a grounded flight coming to me the airline was able to put him in a dog hotel for the night and was transported to me the day after. My breeder kept me update the entire time throughout the process.
It has been great so far. Anxiously waiting for the litter to arrive.
I contacted so many breeders and my whole experience was horrible. Only one breeder bothered to contact me and they flat out lied to me and not to mention they had me thinking they had puppies and then no puppies. Of course now they don't respond at all. I will let all my friends and family know what an racket they run!

Gooddog use to be a great site to find breeders but now they are requiring everyone put their credit card information in and set up payment schedule in order to secure a puppy with a breeder and that is scary! I do not like my information online and I should be allowed as a buyer to set up pickup with breeder and pay with cash so my credit card information isn't floating around online. Gooddog, this is completely ridiculous! Since when is it forbidden to pay with cash?! C'mon now! You're starting to be no better than these other websites you find puppies on and hope and pray you don't fall victim! DO BETTER!

Good Dog buyers can apply and message Good Breeders without placing a deposit or entering their payment information.
Breeders are in total control of when they choose to request deposit and puppy payments.
Buyers can also choose to pay via bank transfer (ACH) if they do not want to pay with credit or debit cards.
Your security is our top priority. That’s why we use the most stringent security measures possible to protect sensitive information like addresses, card numbers, bank account information, and more.We utilize bank-level, best-in-class technology to keep your information safe. Paying and communicating directly through Good Dog is the only way for us to monitor and protect you and our community from fraud, scams, and other security issues, such as phishing.

At first, I was not too confident as our money was collected and deducted from our bank account, but the breeder was unable to receive our money. The breeder was new to Good Dog as well. Worried about it and not wanting to have to be out double the money, I placed a call to Good Dog. I had to leave a message which really made me worry. It wasn't too terribly long that I received a very detail voicemail assuring me my money was guaranteed. The day we were driving to get our new dog, the breeder called stating that he had received our money.
Salata Golden Retreivers asked for a deposit before puppies birth, which we did. The mother died within 24 hours of giving birth. I discussed the effects this can have on a puppy and it's adulthood and respectfully explained we no longer would like one from that litter. She will not refund us or give us a puppy from another litter, not that we would like one from her at this point. She said "you've already been on 2 waitlists and now you're going to another so you're not fit for our dogs"
I've been on one waitlist prior to committing to her puppy, and that waitlist was going to take a year or two to get a puppy. Of course we wanted one sooner:(
She has been very unkind. I'm about as fit for a dog as someone can be.
