The food tasted great... arrived on schedule. The small pies are a great idea to serve for a dinner party.
Everything arrived in great condition. I was very pleased.
Just finished eating one of the Gino's East deep dish and wow almost as good as eating it there. I cooked it thawed for an hour at 400 degrees and At 50 minutes brushed the outside and top of the crust with olive oil. Also used a preheated pizza stone. It was crunchy chewy and delicious all at once. Definitely worth the pric.
Placed order for 2lb. Order of lobster mac & cheese from Hancock lobster, and where's the lobster?. It should be called mac& cheese, I spent way too much money for just mac& cheese and I ordered 4 trays. Buy 1 and get 1... Hancock lobster RIP off.
They were going to be delayed due to weather so Shelby sent out another order so they would be fresh at ni cost!

My order was shipped on time. The 8-slice sampler arrived in a cardboard box. Inside was a styrofoam cooler in which the cake slices were packed in individual plastic shells with dry ice in the bottom of the cooler. Both items arrived well packaged and our kids said they were delicious! Our DIL particularly liked the boozy ice cream; she's a doctor dealing with the hell that is the pandemic, and they were just the thing for her after returning home after a long, terrible day.
When looking the Manhattan Clam Chowder was listed. Manhattan Clam Chowder was not on the drop list of chowder. I called the guy and he was very helpful in NYC. The guy agreed it was listed on his screen also. I order the Mix & Match 12 pack. The chowder came on time and frozen. Very good chowder from Bay Shore.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
