I received a dozen Stan's donuts from my boss for a group virtual party. He sent a dozen to each employee. My donuts arrived on time to my house in south Louisiana but were a melted mess. The same thing happened to my coworker in Texas. They were not packed in any kind of ice. Each one was out in a separate bag and placed in the box. It was impossible to get them out of the bags without them falling apart. Here's a tip: pack your donuts in ice when shipping to the south especially in the summer!

This is the second time we ordered. First time was mother's day and this order on fathers day and the food taste is excellent. Customer service & order accuracy needs serious improvement. On mother's day it was well worth the cost. This order which was missing items needs to be eaten as a snack instead of a meal. Good value as a meal VERY EXPENSIVE snack!

Ordering was simple and straightforward. The carrier used for shipping delivered the food on time, so that it didn't spoil (our recent experience with other companies, where packages delivered by FedEx were delayed for 2-3 days in warm weather). The product (Beal's lobster rolls) was of truly outstanding quality and well worth the price. Will definitely favor Goldbelly over other vendors for future purchases.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
