Package came on time. Food was delicious and instructions were easy.
All of them need either some dry ice or more ice in the packing. Broken Spanish tamales were nothing special and barely cool. Traverse pies were tasty, but the box they came in was very beat up and the pies a little melty. Jerry's crab was great but could use a little more ice. Fed-ex and UPS should handle these products better. Said perishable and this side up but they didn't follow those instructions. Y'all pay good money to have them not care. Maybe, I need to not summer order. Proper Ice Cream packed great. Vanweleyn was a little soft when it arrived.
This was a fantastic find. By far the best Poivre sauce to be found.
The order from Pastrami Queen was perfect. I would hesitate to recommend gold belly only because I sent pictures of my order from Lou Malnates where the cheese and pepperoni slid off of the pizza and froze to the side, and no one ever contacted me.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
