I BOUGHT A OVEN FOR A 82-YEAR-OLD MOTHER FOR CHRISTMAS ORDERED ON THE 24TH OF NOV IT IS NOW 15TH OF DEC AND HAS NOT SHIPPED. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I EVER DEALT WITH. DON'T MAKE MISTAKE I DID READ REVIEWS AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE. IM OUT $1100. 00 DOLLARS THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD
I purchased a refrigerator which was on back order so it took 8 weeks to receive it. White glove delivery which you pay extra for got me two doors and the freezer drawer on bottom scratched and dented. It took me another 21/2 mos. To receive doors. They sent one at a time over a period of 21/2 months. But I did save some money, so when I got ready to purchase washer and dryer I called them again. Lowes had same set on sale Labor Day for $749 each so all I was doing was saving taxes. Well when I got my credit card statement they had charged me $829 each! They said they couldn't find my recorded conversation. How f-ing convenient. So I ended up paying $160 more than if I had gotten it at Lowes. They are a rip off!
NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
I ordered a platform bed frame from them. On there website it showed the price $37.72. I then received an email from David Feltz Customer service supervisor. Letting me know that the website price was incorrect and they are cancelling my order. I called the number provided and spoke with David. When I asked to speak with his manager he gave me a fake email stating this is the owner of the company. David did say that there going to refund me my money but I'm not so sure on that. David also gave me the option to pay an additional $129.00 and I could still get the item
I spent 7k at this company... first dryer was damaged, and they sent another. Total time to get washer/dryer was almost 2month. 2nd dryer was also bent and damaged. And after spending an hour on the phone, they credited my acct, which is not great, when you buy NEW, a credit doesnt make the dent go away.
My kitchen suite that arrived appeared to be intact. Since I was doing a remodel, the products sat in my garage until it was time to install appliances. When the plumber was about to install the dishwasher, he noticed the bottom frame underneath the unit was bent, and the wood frame it was sitting on cracked and broken which i could not see on inspection. They told me i am responsible to look for damage EVERYWHERE... God forbid one has to turn the refrigerator or range on its side to inspect as it would be impossible without help. They really need to tell people EXACTLY what to inspect, not just the exterior for dents/scratches which is all i am expecting to see. Make sure you inspect everything if you buy from them.

This was the first time I placed an online order through Goedeker's. I had been looking for matching pub chairs for the square counter height kitchen table I had ordered through a different online merchant. I needed (8) chairs, so I was searching for the best deal possible, and found it through Goedeker's! I was able to order the chairs in sets of 2, and the price beat what I was even seeing on Amazon Prime! The items did take a little longer to receive because they were on back order, but Goedeker's kept me informed via email as to when I could expect delivery. Great experience... I will definitely include them in my go-to online vendors when looking for future deals. :)
I ordered a desk that came to me completely destroyed. Their solution, which they slated as a favor to me, was to have UPS come pick the item up. They require the desk be visible by UPS at the front door for pick up. I live in a 4th floor walk up. I explained to them that I would therefore have to hire someone to help get said item to a place that is visible and asked that they refund me the cost of that. Again, this issue is a result of negligent packaging on their end. They offered an apology. Just that. "Sorry, but other companies would not pay for the return shipping." No. Other companies would reimburse on the spot and offer a discount on the next order.
In this day and age when everything is available online, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KING. Never again.
How do you possibly find out that an appliance is faulty without installing it?

I'm not typically inclined to write reviews but their customer service really is terrible. The onus is put on the customer way more than it should be. Especially for an appliance I had in my possession for less than 3 days when I made the first call to get it fixed or replaced.
Ordered oven from godeckers on 5-24-2017. Got e-mail on 5-5-2017 saying it would ship on 6-6-2017. Got e-mail on 2-7-2017 saying it was shipped with tracking # as of 6-20-2017. Godeckers does not know if it has been shipped or not. The carrier say they have not received the shipment. Godeckers wants to charge me 300.00 to cancel the order. Be cautious of ordering from modelers
Completely horrible customer service. Be prepared to be lied too. I ordered my couch and was told the delivery can be scheduled in the evening so I do not have to take a day off work. First lie. I was told by the delivery people that they will only deliver between the hours of 9am-1pm or it will be delivered NEXT MONTH. I take a day off work then the day of the delivery they tell me that it wasn't loaded on to the truck, tough luck it will be delivered next week. Sent an email to the support team and owner of the company, NO REPLY. Called their team no answer.
If I could give -******* rating I would! This has been the absolute worse company I could've ever ordered from. If you don't pay extra money, the crappy delivery company AM Trucking will leave your item in the driveway! I paid to have it brought into my house. Who does that?! I ordered a brand new cream colored sofa that was delivered with no legs, blemishes all over it, a sticker that left a stain and a piece of wood firmly attached to the bottom of it protruding out on the side. I contacted customer service as soon as I unboxed it. They asked for pics, I sent them. Next she/Sarah Roy asked for a pic of serial number. Sent that. At this point its been 2 weeks. I didn't get reached out to again until 3 weeks and was told they would send "feet" for the sofa and offered a cleaning service. For a brand new sofa! Really?. I emailed Steve Goedeker and got no response but at the 3 1/2 week mark Sarah says I can get a refund or replacement if I have the original packaging. Really? How do you unwrap and keep a bunch of plastic wrap and a flimsy box intact after almost 4 weeks later? Terrible terrible company that has no integrity! They are thieves in my opinion, and don't ever think otherwise!
This company hires some of the worst delivery companies in the world. They gave me a window of 4 to 8 p.m. and showed up at 10:15 at night. They left a mess everywhere and nearly broke the refrigerator and damage the floor. I would not recommend ever buying from this company buyer beware you get what you pay for
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! WORST COMPANY EVER BEWARE TOTAL SCAM. I purchased an item and receieved only part of it when I call back they said the picture include more than the item so basically you don't get what's in the picture and if you want to return the item they will give you ridiculous shipping mine $640. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY
Terrible customer service with very poor communication & delivery service! Will never order from there again! Would call to get the status on the order & was given the run around. The delivery trucking company was horrible. AM Home Delivery would hang up on the call numerous times and the management there is horrific and will not return calls or communicate in any way. The management there and at Goedekers leaves a lot to be desired. Ordering furniture from Goedekers turned out to be a terrible experience!
I bought a sofa and paid $49.00 for the "choice of room" delivery, When the sofa arrives, the delivery man tells me that they are going to charge me PER STEP to take it to the second floor for a total of $80,00. I told them I was refusing the delivery and they told me they would charge me $300.00 to ship it back,. Terrible business policy. My first time buying with these people. I'll make sure to spread the word
If there are problems with your order, you are stuck. They will not address concerns. They don't care about the customer. Once they send it and have your money, they are done. Their return policy is a lie. Order with a reputable online company... NOT Goedeker's.
I purchased a " NEW scratch and dent" frigidaire 40" electric range with a 10 yr extended warranty on 1/14/14. The stove is literally falling apart! The side that was 'dented" is now separating from the range causing it to collapse onto the drawer below. Goedekers will not do anything, told me to call the "warranty company". At no time was I given the name, number or a copy of the warranty I paid for. They finally emailed it to me and I was told that I "shouldn't have bought a dented item" and that they would not send anyone out to look at it. In addition I made them aware that there are also multiple electrical problems with the range, buttons don't work, stove light will not work even with a new bulb. To add insult to injury the "new stove" I purchased 2 years ago is actually a 4 YEAR old stove according to frigidaire based on the model and serial #! So goedekers is selling old, damaged product and then refusing to stand behind it! I even sent them photos of the stove, to Casey Boys at goedekers.
Bought a very expensive build in kitchenaide architect series refrigerator and couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. THANK YOU. Great service and product delivered on time. We will definitely do business with Goedecker AGAIN.

One of the best online experiences I have ever had. The process was very smooth. Any questions I had were immediately addressed by their sales and support staff. The price was the best price anywhere. The double-ovens arrived as scheduled in perfect condition. I will always buy my appliances from Goedeker's. Why would I want to pay more for something less?!
Customer service grows increasingly impersonal. Automated phone assistance and form email letters are standard practice for most companies. But there is one company for whom the personal touch is an integral element of their business Goedekers of St. Louis, Missouri. I know of no company whose customer service surpasses Goedekers. Have you ever received a hand written note AND a phone call AND an email thanking you for your purchase? AND encouraging you to call if you have any questions? AND friendly, knowledgeable and helpful individuals when you do call? I am so thankful my contractor recommended Goedekers. Besides superb customer service, the selection and pricing is incredible! Needless to say I am a Goedekers fan and loyal customer! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I salute you Goedekers! This experience renewed my faith that there are businesses for whom the customer, not profit is the bottom line.
