Hosting expired due to old credit card on file was told I needed to pay $150 reactivate fee. Thank you godaddy for making me realize my business no longer needs a website and google is just fine. 8 year customer that will never be back!

It's been almost 2 YEARS since I asked Godaddy to design my website. We have gone through 3 different iterations of the website, and have gone through 8 "project lead" people. In April, I spoke to a Supervisor of Godaddy Support, nothing came out of that as we are still working on the website. I have been told that a supervisor was watching the website to make sure the changes have been done, which they have not been. I have had multiple meetings regarding the same thing… It is a huge waste of my time. My project lead keeps telling me that they have not looked at the website a few days before our meeting, that is very scary to me. The designers clearly have not been doing what I need them to do and they are not managing them. Had a meeting today and was told a manager will get back to me in the next 48 business hours...You guys are Godaddy, why can't you get this done? This is embarrassing…
I have a small company, and I hired Go Daddy to design the website and provide SCO services, I was promised after 3 to 6 months that it would be on page 1 of Google, now a year later, it is still at page 101, and Godaddy has not offered to do any additional service, even though they did not meet what they promised. They will tell you anything when you purchase a service, but they will not deliver.
I choose the domain which was broker service i paid 272 aed the i want to use that so showing transfer to the main account so thats also charged me 43 aed and the domain still not get the domain so i sent email and told the if not giving my domain then why charged me refund my payment so the sent email and saying we will refund 272 dirhams and paid total 272 plus transfer 43 aed and even i need my domain how could they do like this with customers if someone bought the domain so they transfer straight his account they did very bad with me even my account now showing no domain after all changes you can see in the attachments
I wrote my previous review in June and here we are in late August, nearly september, and still having the same problems. The issue is godaddy stated they would provide a functioning website, but cannot follow through. They only build half a website and then require you to offboard (which is saying the website is complete). Then godayy will charge you again for the remainder of the website. Godaddy will tell you the website is complete and that you will see it live in the next 48 hour as a complete and live website. During this 48 hours you will be excited to see your website, but the reality is when it appears as live, its half done and not functional. Then they want more money to complete it. Go daddy is not an honest company. BEWARE!
I have been with godaddy for 5 years. This month I missed a payment and was not aware of it. My website was deleted and I was charged $86 to restore it. The issue with this is I have been a 5 year loyal client and I have 6 websites with them. Currently only 2 are active. Godaddy has chosen 1 of my 2 active websites to delete and the inactive websites are still available to edit or renew. This is a scam that has been happening for years. If there is a renewed fee why does it not apply to all websites. Why is the only website to be deleted the active website. Because they know you need it so they hide it and to make it reappear they extort $86 from 1 client at a time. I will have to pay it but I suggest you use another website builder if you have the option. I hope they sleep good at night taking money that they have not earned from their own clients.
I'm a business owner and use GoDaddy merchant services. So theyjust randomly freezes your money for reviews. I'm on day four trying to get my money. The customer service is apparently out of India or should I say the lack of customer support? Stay away from the merchant services.

GoDaddy's Content team suspended our domain on August 16,2023 without any explanation or reasoning. They are not allowing us to access our domain or transfer our domain to another provider.
We have been working with GoDaddy for over 15 years, purchased thousands of dollars worth of services with them, never had any complaints or problems during this timeframe and then without any warning or reasoning suspended our domain.
We have tried to reach out to GoDaddy Support Team multiple times and have reached a dead end. Nobody is trying to resolve the issue in the department that handles these suspensions.
Due to the actions of GoDaddy, our business is no longer operational. Thousands of individuals who rely on our site are now no longer able to earn income and everyones livelihoods are on the line because they are out of work.
We are pleading with someone to reach out to us and find a solution to this matter. In return I will be happy to leave you a 5* review thanking GoDaddy for peacefully resolving this issue.

Refund issue from last 3 years( Bad Daddy): I am from India. Unfortunately i paid more money to GoDaddy before 3 years. They tried to refund the issue happening. I have given my bank statement more than 20 times. I requested to deposit the money in the go daddy wallet. Still issue not resolved.
Hands down, THE rudest people who answer the phones, and has been for the 10 years Ive had a domain with them. The guys all have big D energy, not willing to anwer questions or assist. I hate GoDaddy with a passion.

Horrible company to deal with when setting up a domain, they get you on having to purchase more crap and that's the Microsoft 365. Prices keep going up so you think it's a cheap price for domain only in order to use it, you have to purchase all their over priced bull$#*! to use the domain and email addresses. When trying to transfer domain, they make it as difficult as possible. If you do transfer your domain, forward your emails to another email address so you won't lose them in the transfer. Customer service reps keep you on the phone and placing you on hold making you think they are working really hard to resolve your problem and they aren't, they're just doing it to be $#*!s.
This has been the worse decision of our agency switching to godaddy. They have the worst customer service I have ever come across. You can't get any help or anyone to do thier job. Spent over 1600 and have no access to our domain or emails and no one seems to want to help. They just want to keep our money and bull$#*! us, f*** godaddy
I am writing this review because I just frustrated with GoDaddy Customer Support in how they handled the WorkSpace to Office365 Email Migration. First, we got very little notice as to when the migration was happening. What they said would take 48 hours to complete has taken more than 3 weeks to sort out. The new Office365 Email Plan that we got only has 10GB of storage when the standard plan with Office365 has 50GB of storage. All of our accounts have around 8-15 GB of email data which means that some of them will reach their limit and stop working in the near future. Guess what? They will all have to be upgraded for an additional cost. We have reached out to our account rep (Yes, you now have to wait over 40 minutes to speak to a live agent!), who are nice people but inefficient. They cannot give you a straight up answer, don't follow up, transfer you to a different department, make promises to fix things and yet nothing changes. Frustrating to the point where I am considering moving my business elsewhere. Take note GoDaddy. I have been a loyal client for over 15 years! Anyone listening? I do not think so!
I was having a problem loading my HTML code as Godaddy had changed the steps. Contacted support through the message app only to find they were totally incompetent and unhelpful. After twenty minutes on hold talked an extremely rude rep who blamed me for the problem. As soon as this hosting period expires I will never use Godaddy again.
Have never had a problem as bad as with GoDaddy. The customer service is not great and they are acting unethically. On 07-04-2023 an order was placed on my website for a doll with the payment method as being a credit card. I fulfilled the order, shipped it, and it was received by the buyer on July 10th 2023. On Saturday July 22, I was informed that the buyer disputed the purchase with their credit card company or bank. GoDaddy informed me to furnish proof of the transaction, which I did through email the same day. I was informed the money would be taken out of my account. Why? The dispute is being reviewed and now I am disputing it. So it makes no sense to take the money I earned. As of today, the money is in the process of being taken from my account in the amount of $157.99 AND I am without a doll. This person is either scamming me or used a stolen credit card, which has nothing to do with me. I was then informed that due to this chargeback, they were dropping me as a customer! I am a legitimate small business owner just trying to make a living. I called GoDaddy on July 22 and after explaining my situation, I was hung up on. Then I called back and was left on hold for 45 minutes purposely. I cannot reach anyone. I have tried emailing and I am getting ignored. So, I've been scammed by a consumer and GoDaddy! I can't use my website and I'm paid through February of 2024! A more than fair resolution is for me to keep my $157.99 since I fulfilled my end and I am out a doll. I also would like GoDaddy to pay out the remainder of my subscription since I can't use my website! They will not allow me to even delete my payment information in my account. I keep tuning off auto renewal and somehow it keeps getting turned back on. This is atrocious. GoDaddy is the worst company I have ever used for anything.
Godaddy purchased Media Temple many years ago. I was a Media Temple customer. Media Temple had awesome support. I could easily speak with a rep and get any issue addressed and solved in a timely manner. Godaddy just recently migrated all the Media Temple customers to the Godaddy platform and it is a disaster. I have my domains registered with Pairnic and Godaddy did not bother to check this. DNS pointers were not updated so my website was down for several days. I have spent many hours on hold with Godaddy support. Godaddy requires verification of my account. Since my email was not working and phone number on file was a landline, I was unable to get the text and verify my account. 2 out of 3 Godaddy reps are incompetent. It has just been a cluster F…. Finally after a few days and many hours on hold, my website is back up, but email is not working right. I can recieve email, but not send it. Webmail doesn't work. I am planning to change my hosting ASAP.
I signed up for a business line and they told me they were switching over to "conversations". I did this last thursday and it has now been 9 days and my line still isn't working properly. It is marked as SPAM... that's right, they gave me a "spoof" number which is what their customer service said. I ihave spent over 12 hours talking to various people and there's NEVER a supervisor and no one there can do crap. I am so over them seriously lacking any good customer service. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE!
Several calls and talks did not solve (to me) a simple issue of correcting a microsoft 2002 error which prevents me from setting up a local account.
The tech support (3 people) had less than a clue and the answer is always the SAME. It is outside of our scope. Seriously...
Answer: Do not use this company. Go daddy excessive fees, will keep adding fees claiming lack of security, and also has a policy that will ask for private information such as passport, license if you ever change your phone number even though they will talk to you on the phone.
