We wish you had contacted us as soon as you noticed that the roses started to die on February 15 so we could have looked into your case and maybe provided some tips to process your flowers so they perked up beautifully (flowers may arrive slightly dehydrated due to the long journey from South America, but with appropriate care, you can bring them back to looking great within the next 12 hours). Since we are handling fresh flowers, timely notification is crucial so we can react promptly and send a replacement if necessary. They are coming in nicely even a week later! There were a couple of the roses that are kind of half dead, the outer petals were dead upon arrival. But for the most part they're great. I've never seen roses bloom so large before.

Please note that roses typically have 3 to 5 guard petals, which are the outer petals that protect the inner petals of the bloom as they unfold. These guard petals are often wilted or may have charred/black edges. You can choose to remove them once the flowers start to bloom or leave them on for a more natural garden look.
