I have been using Gixen for many years and it has won me countless auctions. It has won auctions with no visible time on the clock. The mirror unit is a great touch, if one unit does not get through the other does. Gixen is simple to use and works great.
I had been using a paid auction sniper service for years and was very happy with it until I found Gixen would do the same thing for free. All the bids I've placed have been carried out perfectly.
Great tool, easy to use. I have Won 1000s of items and saved $100s. Recommend. User since 2014 and will continue to use for many more.
In the world of auctions this is a great tool. You just set your bid and Gixen does all the work. You'll receive info if you've been outbid and this allows you to make adjustments. Glad I found it!
Software works. Price good. It has gotten me many nice objects. I like my nice objects very much yes
Gixen works well for me. I use it to bid on 2-3 items per week (average). When I find an item I want, I copy the item number from the listing, figure out my maximum bid, switch to Gixen, enter the item number and my bid, and ADD the item. I can check back regularly. Gixen lets me know if a bid higher than my bid is placed prior to the end of the auction. Gixen lets me know at the end of the auction whether I won or not. Gixen meets my simple needs, and would probably work well for more active eBayers. I use the paid option, 2 years at a time, and get two bids placed at the end, one from the regular server and one from the mirror server.
This the greatest tool for buying on ebay it is great value for the small amount asked each year or two years.
Mario (Gixen operator). Is easy to contact & communicate over any problem you may have
I've used for a while now and I've had a very good experience with it. (win) Always accurate always and never let me down.
Simple interface, easy to use, reliable (especially with the very reasonably-priced mirror) -- just outstanding! Has really helped me on a number of items.
The best snipping service on the web. Great communication with its creator from time to time to keep users informed. Nothing but the best.
Gixen snipes ebay for an extremely nominal fee each year, NOT each snipe, as was my previous experience. Gixen nails 'em, no apologies. Very satisfied.
I've collected autographs for a long time. I used Biddingscheduler for a long time and something happened that shut them down. I searched and found a few that interested me but decided on Gixen. It was an easy setup and the first couple of bit won for me. I sent $6.00 and have won 5-6 autographs at a single time. I was outbid a few times but as far as Gixen goes they are spot on. Bidding again is painless and has paid off. Personally I'm very satisfied.
I have used Gixen for many, many years to "snipe" auctions on eBay and have never had a single problem. This may be due in part to my subscribing to their "mirror" service, though my purpose in doing so was merely to support the service. While the added "insurance" this afforded was certainly an added bonus (I suppose), I subscribed almost from the beginning for the above reason. I highly recommend Gixen to anyone who wishes to snipe on eBay. I can't imagine you will be disappointed.
I've been using gixen as long as I can remember. I can't count how many auctions it has allowed me to win, probably close to 100 over the years. Set it and forget it. It also saves me money because I put my top amount and don't get caught up in the last minute tendencies to overpay.
I went looking for an auction sniper after bidnip went belly up (that was truly ugly, I ended up buying snipes on bidnip just before their issues started; they kept accepting money even when they wouldn't place bids). I have paid the extra $6 for the mirror service. They have bid on my behalf multiple times, and haven't missed any bids; sometimes I am high bidder, sometimes not, but my bids always get placed, which is all you can expect.
They do need to better explain how thr buffer time settings work. I am used to setting one time (say 6 seconds), but Gixen has 2 time settings, and I am not sure I understand the setup.
Other than that very minor point, Gixen is great. It is reliable, and does what you expect.
I have been a Gixen user for years. First the free service. Then the paid service. I have been consistently happy with the service. Simple. Straightforward. Does what it's supposed to do at a great annual price. Love it.
I was using an alternative sniping site for a few years, and lost some important items due to software failures.
Since I swapped to Gixen, I have not had any issues, and found the site very easy and user friendly. I subscribe to the mirror service, and recommend this service whole-heartedly. Thoroughly recommended service!
I have been using Gixen for many years. Back in the day almost everything was an auction and very few items were new and I don't think there was a buy it now feature. There were very few times in fact maybe only once or twice that I lost an auction to a quicker bid.
I've been using GIXEN for many years now, before I used other snipping services which were fine but all had limitations, I must admit GIXEN is not free now as it used to be(unless you want limited snipes) but for just six bucks a year you get unlimited snipes as well as your snipes entered by a mirror server so there is almost no chance of your snipe not being entered. Try GIXEN you will be well pleased you did. Richard
Answer: TOTALLY LEGIT! Been a paid up user for over a decade and never had a single problem.
Answer: It is obvious the reviewer had all the problems that he incorrectly blames on Gixen because he has visited other websites that have put malware/spyware/keyloggers/viruses on his computer. He won't admit that his problems are his own fault so falsely blames GIXEN for his own incompetence.
Answer: I have not needed to reach Customer Service. Their online help is pretty good. Just read.
Answer: It just works. Simple user interface. You can just "set it and forget it". Maybe the best online tool I have ever encountered.
Answer: Nothing at all. Gixen main service is free up to 4 winning snipes a month. Reliability for the free service is 99.5%. If you want higher reliability you can subscribe to Gixen Mirror. In that case your bid is sent twice, from two servers in different regions to minimize chance of failure. Gixen Mirror is inexpensive, around $6 / year, and there are different subscription types that can be seen on the settings page.
